I have purchased these before and although i DO NOT recommend using them in a pool they are perfect for for any other use. I bought 3 sets 5 years ago and just decided to add more (original sets working fine, except for the ones that went into the pool). Same exact ones from Frontgate just less expensive on Sharper Image.

I would buy this product again!
I bought this solar powered globe for outside around the pool and it has been impressive! The changing colors are a great addition. I was worried about the size, afraid it would be too small but it's perfect at 8". Although I have a light in the pool, I'm anxious to see how it works floating in there. We entertain a lot in the summer and this light provides adequate light. I plan on getting 2 more.
