Excellent product!
I think the manual could do a better job of how to use the product. Once you figure it out, it goes smoothly. This product is the way to digitize the 100's of 35mm slides fro years passed.

Glad I bought it!
This machine made my life so much easier! I was able to transfer a whole big mess of slides and negatives to a SD card in two days while watching tv. I had bought two other devices that did not work satisfactorily, but this was great!

I really do like it.
A few issues. Slides sometimes get stuck in the feeder, not sure why. There is no way to get the last slide out of the feeder (after looking at its image) by using the feed mechanism. only way to get it out is to remove the feeder and use a finger. A rheostat would be better at controlling amount of light than the system currently in use. It would allow a greater range of variation in the amount of light needed to get the best image. A better design for the negative holder is needed to accommodate negatives smaller than 135mm. As is it's very hard to use with 110mm negatives.

Slide Storage Solution for Downsizers
This converter was the solution to our quest for a way to quickly digitize a lifetime collection of slides. Strong points are ease of set up and use, small footprint, ans decent photo correction. I would prefer less jamming. Our slides are up to 45 years old and may have swelled enough to result in the tight fit in the tray, leading to several jams with each stack of slides. The SD card storage is very last century. Internal flash storage would be more efficient. all in all a great unit for the price and the perfect solution for this downsizing senior.
