I'm pleasantly surprised!
I wasn't so sure about this item when I ordered it. One of the photos of this item shows the diffuser sticking out of a cigarette lighter on the console. I was buying it as a gift and found out AFTER I ordered it that the item would be used in a cigarette lighter on the dash, not the console. I thought the essential oil was dropped into a small compartment in the top of the diffuser and would spill out if used horizontally. I just received the diffuser today, and I am so happy with it! The essential oil is dripped onto a small ceramic-type disk(which isn't mentioned in the description of the product) and it comes with 12 replacement disks. The disk is then warmed which releases the oil aroma. This diffuser should work in any cigarette lighter. I wish I would've known more about this product when I ordered it. I'm writing this review in hopes it helps someone else decide if this is the right diffuser for them!

works!
I really like this little gadget. I have it in my car to freshen it up with the essential oil fragrances I like. I have a friend who uses those horrendous cheap car fragrance smells and I can't even ride in her car it gives me such a headache. This little thing is portable and slim, and best of all, it uses the fragrances I like without being overwhelming. I love it.
