Comprehensive Set of VideoTutorials Provided
This package certainly contains a wide variety of lessons for playing the Acoustic Guitar. They vary from very basic rhythm and strumming methods to very advanced techniques which would only apply to very experienced musicians. Several genres of music are addressed including Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, and others. Different expert instructors are employed throughout the series. The novice student may find it difficult to follow any type of learning progression in this series because of the genre variety, teaching variations, and experience necessary. There is no printed teaching manual, nor music sheets provided in the package. Music files are on the DVD's, and it is necessary for the student to use his own printer for hard copies. Video and audio production quality of the series is excellent. The bottom line though, is that similar instruction can be found on You Tube.
