simple yet effective
i purchased this for my husband who is both a magnet and light nut! :-) it's very simple to set up - you just take it out the box and plug it in! when the magnets are almost touching the light lights up. pull the bottom magnet away and the light turns off. my husband loves it. it's very simple yet very effective.

REALY NEAT / DIFFERENT LAMP - LOT'S OF COMMENTS !
As soon as people walk into our family room it is the 1st thing they notice & go WOW! Very modern, new, spacy looking are some of the comments. I turn it off so I can show the string & magnets & how it works and again they go WOW !!!

Very cool effect
This is a very cool and unique lamp. There are no buttons. Just hold the magnetic balls close, until they are attracted together and suspended in mid-air. Then the LED lights turn on. It's simple, yet very striking at the same time. The lamp looks good on a desk, nightstand or office cubicle.
