You are never too old!
I bought this set so that I can play with my grandchildren when they visit. It is not only fun but also a great reminder of how many hours I spent playing with slot cars as a child. I recommend it for bringing back the child in every grandparent!

Love this racetrack!!!
I searched high and low for a good quality slot car racetrack for my son. I didn't want to buy him something that was poorly made or was not built to last. We are very pleased with this product. We had a terrific time assembling, enjoying, and even breaking down this set. The instructions were easy to follow and we became comfortable with the controls and power in no time. It is an all-around excellent toy for us to enjoy for years to come. The only thing I wish the set came with is a durable carrying/storage case.

Still trying to make it over the loop :)
As base slot car kits go this one is a great purchase. Has turns, loops and two great cars. Putting the track together is easy, but takes patience. The notches are a bit tricky to get together. Driving the cars is another story, I can't make it around the track without flying off or falling off the loop. My 11 year old son can... but it would be frustrating for some younger children. Recommended for 10 and over...
