do NOT buy
It worked in the beginning, however, it is the most annoying thing ever. Why does it talk every time you turn on the car and turn it off? "Your system is being turned off, please hold out." Have a nice trip." And, now, less than 4 months later, it just randomly turns off. Still plugged in, no changes to it, it just turns off at random times. I have always thought of Sharper Image as a top of the line company, clearly that is not the case anymore.
Bottom LineNo, I would not recommend to a friend
