"It works!

Great idea!
I am not a serious baker and am intimidated by dough that requires a rolling pin. This rolling pin is easy to clean and use, and the aluminum is a great idea--it can be refrigerated before I use it and then keeps the dough cold when I roll it out.

Flat-out, the coolest rolling pin!
An Aluminum Rolling Pin Makes So Much Sense. This one is machined from aircraft grade aluminum and is anodized with an impressive finish. Seriously: why has the metal rolling pin never caught on? It seems like a much better option to wood - you get a nice tapered shape with the right weight, a surface that should prevent the dough from sticking to it, and the ability to chill your pin before rolling, so you don't get the dough warm. This is a must have!
