After I actually used it on a recent trip, I can say that this little speaker has a big sound and long battery life! This speaker would be welcome gift by most people. It is hard to believe this small speaker sounds so good.

Good sound from a small speaker
This is a very handy little 3 Watt speaker, with surprisingly good sound. Pairing was pretty fast and easy (I tested it with an iPhone 6, iPhone 4 and an iPad 4). The battery charge lasts about 4 hours, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on your volume. I used it in my car when the radio died. I also used it outdoors on a patio table for a barbecue. (We were able to enjoy the music without a big bulky box on the table.) Since I like to play my music on trips, I can easily see myself taking this along on any upcoming vacations. This speaker is not meant to shake the rafters, just give you some portable music whenever and wherever you need it. If you don't want to bother with Bluetooth (or you have some older iPods in your home), you can plug it right into the auxiliary line In jack. In short, I liked it a lot and I plan to buy a couple of these as stocking stuffers this Christmas! See my video online at SharperImage.com.
