Tough at first.
Once I figured out how to get that cap off it was smooth sailing. It works as advertised. However, the instruction booklet was printed in minuscule print that one can scarcely see. Also, prepare for your face to be beet red after using. Oh boy does it suck! But in a good way.

Works well on stubborn blackheads
The heat and lights are very nice, it does a good job of getting the nasty blackheads out. Especially the ones you can't get on your own.
