The Wireless Mail Alert System consists of a wireless sensor and a plug-in receiver that work together to notify you when your mailbox has been opened.• Easy to install, no wiring involved
• Includes sensor and receiver
• Works on all three basic types of mailboxes: curbside, wall-mounted and slot
• Sensor attaches to the lid of your mailbox with included adhesive tape
• Sensor is rated IP55 waterproof
• Sensor is triggered when it is rotated 45 degrees from vertical
• Receiver plugs into an AC outlet in your home (350-ft. range)
• When mailbox is opened, a red LED on the receiver illuminates and the receiver beeps 4 times
• Reset button on the receiver turns off the alerts
• Operates on reliable radio frequency (no apps, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi needed)
• FCC approved
• Sensor operates on 1 included A23 battery
• Receiver plugs into an AC outlet
Note: Not for use on mailboxes with vertical hinges or large mailboxes made of heavy metal or aluminum.

Even better than I anticipated!
Having just moved, I was looking for a way to know a new mail arrival time. This was the perfect solution. It is well worth it. The set-up was easy as the instruction were through and in plain english.

I own this love it
We live out in a rural area that still has a mailbox outside each home, I own this mailbox chime have had it for years now, but I did have to change out my metal mailbox for a plastic one I bought at our local hardware store Because the signal wasn't reaching the receiver in house, it's been working wonderfully ever since the mail carrier even opens the mailbox door two or three times if we have an oversized package or a general package to alert us.

Best small investment ever
Was having our mail boxes messed with and my box is atleast 3 houses down so i have no sight line to it, This has been a god send. Our mail carrier is very sporadic in times so this just works great

This is an awesome product!
Got this as a Christmas gift for my parents as they live in the country and never know when their mail will be delivered. For safety reasons I didn't like my dad walking out to the mailbox multiple times a day so this is a godsend. He loves it! The only issue they have had is sometimes the alarm goes off a lot on windy days but they simply mute the alarm on those days. This is a great product for anyone that has a mailbox a ways from their house!
