Grandson says it's fun
Our 8 year old grandson has wanted to learn how to shoot a bow. This is a fun first step. He likes shooting the dragons. The only disadvantage is the fact that the app is only available on Apple devices. I wasn't able to load it on my Android.

Kids love it!
Love this for all different age groups. Its easy to set up and hook up your phone too it and it was quick and easy for the kids to learn how to play the game. Fun for them to play outside in the nice weather.

Age bracket?
Not sure how to rate them. They were 20 year-olds. Tried them Christmas Day, but not since. As a grandmother it's hard to judge. Maybe a guide of suggested age group?

I saw this item in the Sharper Image catalog and immediately thought it would be fun for my 8 year old grandson. He loves playing video games, and was initially excited to give it a try. I thought it might also be good exercise too. We were both ultimately disappointed. I'm not sure when this product came out, but the catalog and even the instructions indicated this was compatible with both Apple IOS, and Android phones. Apparently, this is no longer the case. I ended up spending nearly an hour trying to find the software for a spare Android phone, however, it no longer exists. This toy REQUIRES an Apple iPhone to work. Once we connected it to an iPhone, it worked, however, the component that holds the phone is cheap and the two apps that are available are lackluster at best. After playing the games for about 5 or 10 minutes, he expressed frustration with the device as it ended up making his shoulders very sore (there are only so many times you can pull the bow before your shoulder and arm become strained and sore). I played with it for about 10 minutes and had the same issue. It was more painful than enjoyable. If you're okay with a high potential of your 8+ year old dropping your iPhone repeatedly and experiencing pain of tendonitis of the shoulder and elbow, by all means get this. I also should have also done a bit more cost research, as several other stores sell this device for about half what you'll pay here.

Doesn't work and no customer service
Trying on three phones, the bluetooth will not connect. I get no support from Odyssey Toys on email or phone. It was a Christmas gift for my grandson who still hasn't been able to play it.

How can you order something that doesn't even work. The QR code is not even working. And the company, Sharper Image, doesn't help you to return ANYTHING. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Does not sync with phones
Santa bought this for grandson, so disappointed when we couldn't get to work with Android nor iPhone. SharperImage (SI) just replied'return it', contacted the manufacturer and it had discontinued any syncing with Android, no information on why it wouldn't work with iPhone. SI still advertises this item as ability to use cell phones but this product is worthless. Now I have to pay to return, paid for shipping on a useless item, and very disappointed grandson that Santa provided a non working toy. Don't buy!!!! We had 2 computer techs that couldn't get this to work.
