Your 3,000 Sq. Ft. Filterless Silent UV Air Purifier. uses NASA-developed AHPCO technology to quietly remove carbon-based contaminants, providing fresh, clean-smelling air in minutes. The AHPCO cell should be changed about every three years.
• Made for the 3,000 Sq. Ft. Filterless Silent UV Air Purifier (Item No. 202235)
• Uses the AHPCO technology (advanced hydration photo-catalytic oxidation) developed by NASA
• Reduces mold, fungi, bacteria, viruses, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other allergens
• Eliminates odors from smoke, pets, cleaning chemicals, mold and more
• AHPCO cell replacement alert lets you know when it's time for a replacement (approximately every 3 years)
• Note: This item cannot be shipped to California due to ozone laws.

Yet to be tried
We just purchased the 3000 sq foot UV air purifier (actually two of them) for our sales office where many folks spend the day in close contact and thus colds and flu spread easily. I hope the description in Sharper Image is true and I can keep folks on the job!
