Amazingly moist meats & veggies-

Have had for several years now, excellent non fuel cooking system. Food stays very moist and seems like impossible to dry food out since it is a vacuum system. For example- I can cook frozen chicken in 1/2 hour or so and even when we have a couple times forgotten it was out in our desert sun for several hours- the food has never been dried out. it is always moist! Plus once you do bring inside-out of sun, if you keep cylinder closed- the food stays hot for several hours as well! We can cook around lunch and not open till dinner and food is still steaming yet items not dried out.

Bottom LineYes, I would recommend to a friend

It really works...

I was so excited to try this as an alternative to having to take the time to build a fire and I was not disappointed. Even when in low sunlight it works great. The design holds more food than you would expect. Great item!!

Perfect for Camping

This is all you need to cook food while camping. This is the coolest camp "stove" I have ever owned. i love that this is all I have to bring to cook my meals. I no longer have to lug my heavy stove and mini propane out to a campsite, this handy gadget is all I need. Bonus, I can cook when its cloudy out too!!

Solar cooking success!

I am experimenting with this to take to Africa as a gift for those who still cook on indoor wood fires. It will improve the health of their homes. I'm not sure yet if I will be able to get it on a plane!
