Not bad
This is similar to the thumper. It is lighter weight which is better, easier to hold. Does seem to work well.

replacement- not as heavy
this was a replacement for a sharper image massage 'thumper' with one head. The one before that had two, like the new one. the new one is lighter, and less effective at getting deep to the problem piriformis muscle in my butt. It is more effective when used solo on my back; the dual heads allow me to rest it in place and not worry about balancing it.

Very weak percussion
I needed a percussion to be very aggressive for my needs and this one has very weak percussion and is useless for my situation. I can't return it because Sharper Image says it is a personal care item and can't be returned. There is no way I could have known it was to weak for my needs other than to purchase it and try it. But I wish I had read the fine print on returns.

No heat
The heat feature is laughable. If you touch the contacts with your bare hands there is very little heat. Certainly not therapeutic. Disappointed.

Stops Working
You cannot return this for a refund. Don't buy it. It stopped working after a few minutes. We gave it a break and it stopped again after 3 minutes. No refund- just replacement offered. No thanks.

This a Homedics brand !!
This website leads you to believe you are purchasing a sharper image product however beware the brand is Homedics. Very very misleading - having trouble returning the item in it's unopened box. Found on other sites for half the price that are marketing it as a Homedics massager. Sending this to the BBB if I don't get a full refund including shipping.
