The LED Emergency Light casts a full circle of unimpeded bright light, and since the bulbs produce negligible heat it's safe around kids and pets. Insects that are usually attracted by light won’t be interested in this LED Emergency Light. It has a handle for easy portability and the extra convenience of a steel hanger for hanging it on a branch or a hook. Includes rechargeable battery and built-in charging cord.

Living in a hurricane prone area, the advantage of plugging the lantern into a receptacle such that the light automatically stays charged and turns on when the power fails is amazing.

good lighting
The lantern will be used for dim lighting in the back yard at snummer night gatherings. The size is perfect. No batteries. Just re charge it the day before you want to use it

Perfect emergency light
I used the lantern immediately. The power company shut off the electricity for an entire day while replacing cable lines. The lantern held its charge and gave off plenty of light. Loved it. Easy to carry around. Power company is due back today. At least I'm prepared. I actually bought it to use during hurricane season. I am going to get one for my son who loves to go camping.

Fantastic emergency light!
The light charged quickly. I used it immediately when the power company shut off the electricity for four hours. It emits enough light to illuminate an entire room but does not give off heat. I actually bought it for hurricane season. My brother-in-law wants one for when he goes camping. I am very pleased with it.

Liked it so much I got another one
This is my second LED Emergency Light purchase. I will get another one for a gift. Here is my first review: This Lamp is bright enough to light a good size room. It charges quickly. It has a hook for hanging, a high and low switch to control the brightness, and a beautiful design. This lamp will be great in a power outage. The design would fit into any room. The only con was the power cord container (at the bottom) and the length of the cord. It could have been longer. I am thinking of purchasing another one for my home and as gifts for family members.
