Beautiful gift
I bought this as a gift. The object itself is beautiful. The utilitarian cardboard shipping box is not very attractive - I had hoped for something a little more "dressy". When I opened the shipping box, the rain gauge was set inside.

I would buy again
The glass cylinder arrived broken even tho it is packaged well. I exchanged it for another one and all is good. The new arrived in a timely manner.

Cool!
It was not possible to fully zero the gauge--it's close, but still registers 0.1 inch. The glass tube should be wider to collect a larger cross-section of rain and allow the ball to move more freely and displace less of the water.

Nice addition to any yard
This rain gauge brings a classic flare to my yard. The kids love watching it fill up and reporting how much rain we got. Easy to stake into the ground, and durable.

Glass tube falls out - and broke
This item is beautiful however the glass tube falls out in the wind and ended up breaking. If itwas sturdier I would give a better review.
