Humidifying your home’s air has always been a great solution to many problems such as dry skin, breathability and static. Unfortunately, older humidifiers often caused as many problems as they solved: they were loud, messy and they often distributed bacteria into the air.
The Ultrasonic Humidifier from The Sharper Image® is a true solution. Our Purification System reduces germs and bacteria in the water safely and effectively. Clean Mist™ Technology prevents microbial growth on the surface of the water tank. Plus, our Ultrasonic technology gives you virtually silent operation.
The tank holds 1.6 gallons of easy-to-fill water, with a 2.5-gallon output. Each tank runs 32 hours. A refill indicator LED light gives you a head’s up on when it’s time to add water, and if the water runs out during your sleep or while you’re away – you’re covered with Auto Off protection. There’s no filter to replace, instead the Ultrasonic Humidifier has a demineralization cartridge for hard water and white dust elimination. Unit covers 500 square feet. Like it a lot.
I like that i don't have to refill so often since it has two good size water reservoirs. It is quiet and working well. The only feature that would make it ideal would be if the area where the steam came out would be longer and able to be directed out farther from the tank. (instead of a flat hole). Other than that I am very happy with it!

Bought it, LOVED IT, bought two more!
I've bought so many bad humidifiers. Finally the perfect one! Was on my son's baby registry and I loved it so much I got one for my bedroom and also my mom whose condo always feels so dry!

Works Perfectly! Love it!
I have dry eye in the Winter and needed a quality cool mist humidifier for my bedroom and family room. I have 7 warm mist humidifiers, but they are related to producing mold and hard to clean. This humidifier puts out mist immediately, does not get much build up of minerals, and can run for at least 24 hours without a refill. I will likely purchase another one very soon. I love it and I have searched for a quality humidifier for years.......finally found one! I love this product! Surprised to find it at The Sharper Image.

Works Perfect!
Humidifiers are a 'staple of life' in Colorado. 20%-30% humidities are commonplace in winter, and your house dries out futher with a forced air furnace. I have a 4,000 sq. ft. home and a whole house humidifier on the furnace, but that needs a boost to reduce static electricity, dry skin and noses, as well as preserve the wood floors and blinds. This unit sits QUIETLY in the living / dining / kitchen area of the home. We fill one tank per day with the 'output' set just above the 1/2 way mark. Set the control so that the mist goes straight up, without falling. If the mist is visibly falling you will end up with moisture on the top of the unit plus the floor or furniture it sits on. (Water on the floor is not water in the air, so don't turn it up too high!) I'm blessed to live in an area with soft / pure water from the tap, so no calcium dust issues. The tanks are VERY easy to fill and I have had no issues screwing the caps back on, nor leaking. Controls are very easy to use. Great value at 50%-60% of the price of other similar units. Same humidity output of evaportative units without the fan noise! Great buy!

A fine humidifier
The engineering on this unit is extremely good. You can easily take the water reservoirs off and transport the unit. it will pour out the humidity day after day and there are no water spills like those from other humidifiers.

Greatest Product of it's kind
I use this product every night and it is whisper quiet. The easiest to clean with the removal of a few screws. Double water tank lasts almost a week on "half spray" in the middle of the dial.

Love it!
I bought the double tank unit in Feb. of 2010 to help my son with his croup. I have been very happy with the unit, so much so that I purchased to single tank unit for my daughter's room. We haven't had a single problem with either unit. They are both quiet and we have not had any problems with condensation as others have reported. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.
