The Weather Alert Emergency Handcrank Radio is essential equipment in the event of a hurricane, tornado, severe storm or power outage. In addition to AM/FM radio and weather radio, it’s also a flashlight and phone charger.
• Never be without an emergency radio, flashlight, emergency beacon or power for your smartphone
• Internal rechargeable Ni-MH battery can be charged by hand cranked turbine, solar power or DC power (Mini USB cable included)
• One minute of hand cranking or sun exposure can provide 10-15 minutes of power for the radio or flashlight
• Can also be powered by disposable batteries (requires 3 AAA batteries)
• AM/FM radio
• Seven band NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) radio
• Optional “alert” system automatically broadcasts emergency weather alerts for your county, such as hurricanes, tornadoes and severe thunderstorms
• USB charging port recharges your iPhone, Galaxy or any other smartphone
• Glow-in-the-dark locator makes it easy to find at night
• LED flashlight

• Headphone jack

High quality in an emergency
After watching power transformers light up the sky during a hurricane, this gives me piece of mind. I can hear what's going on with the weather. We can charge our phones without using the cars (and the gas). It has a bright light. The radio can inform us and entertain us with music (to keep our mind off that we have no power). After our recent extreme weather conditions, I was surprised thia wasn't sold out.
