Love this heating pad
The original heating pad was recalled and so the replacement looks and feels like there's no difference. I still got the lightweight, easy to use, soft to the touch heating pad that I received originally.

soothing
This is different than a regular heated blanket. The heat is penetrating and soothing. I would recommend starting out at low heat levels and building up over time. I have used this blanket for seven months, two or three times a day, to soothe muscular/skeletal injuries. After this many uses, the on off switch is starting to wear out. I lay the blanket on my floor massage mat for a more penetrating heat with the massage. The mat does have heat, but the infrared heat from the blanket is much better. I have also taken this on travels and used as a heating blanket on the beds. Even though it is small, it heats a global area and I stay perfectly warm.
