- Completing Orders. In order to complete your order or to satisfy your request for information, you will be asked to provide us with certain personal information. We offer 1024-bit SSL encryption, which encrypts your personal and credit card information as it is transferred over the Internet.
- We electronically verify each order with the credit company, returning an order confirmed message only if the issuing bank authorizes it. We do not store your credit card information in our system. Our experienced staff manually checks all orders that appear unusual, and has the right to cancel any order we feel is not valid.

SharperImage.com Mobile Message Service. The SharperImage.com mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Camelot SI LLC. Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to the terms and conditions ("Sharper Image Mobile Message Program Terms and Conditions") included in our Terms of Use . By consenting to SharperImage.com's SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring promotional SMS/text messages from and on behalf of SharperImage.com through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided. When you consent to receive recurring SMS/test messages from us, we will honor your request, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. SMS/text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
You understand that you do not have to sign up for recurring SMS/text messages in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with SharperImage.com. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
With respect to SMS/text message marketing, we will not share your opt-in status to a SharperImage.com SMS marketing campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the actual SMS marketing campaign, provided that we may still share your opt-in status for fraud prevention. You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP or other keywords as noted in the Terms of Use to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you initiate a SMS/text message after opting out, such initiation constitutes your consent to receive SMS/text messages and overrides any previous opt-out. If you have subscribed to other SharperImage.com mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

- SMS/text message marketing (if applicable): We may send text messages about our store, new products, and other updates. Updates include Checkout Reminders. With your consent, the website uses webhooks and cookies to help keep track of items you put into your shopping cart including when you have abandoned your cart and this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS/text message (see our “Marketing Preferences” section for more information).
We will process all requests as soon as possible, but please note that due to the nature of our IT systems and servers it may take a few days for any opt-out request to be implemented.
Dispute Resolution
In the interest of resolving disputes between you and SharperImage.com in the most expedient and cost effective manner, you and SharperImage.com agree that any dispute arising out of or in any way related to these messaging terms and conditions ("Messaging Terms") or your receipt of text messages from SharperImage.com or its service providers will be resolved by binding arbitration. Arbitration is less formal than a lawsuit in court. Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator instead of a judge or jury, may allow for more limited discovery than in court, and can be subject to very limited review by courts. Arbitrators can award the same damages and relief that a court can award. This agreement to arbitrate disputes includes all claims arising out of or in any way related to these Messaging Terms, or your receipt of text messages from SharperImage.com or its service providers whether based in contract, tort, statute, fraud, misrepresentation, or any other legal theory, and regardless of when a claim arises. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, BY AGREEING TO THESE MESSAGING TERMS, YOU AND SharperImage.com ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION AND THAT THESE MESSAGING TERMS SHALL BE SUBJECT TO AND GOVERNED BY THE FEDERAL ARBITRATION ACT.
Security
If you are ever a victim of credit card fraud, the Fair Credit Act specifies that your credit card company can hold you liable for no more than $50 in fraudulent charges to your account. With sharperImage.com, you'll be reimbursed for any amount up to $50 billed to you by your credit card company for fraudulent charges to your account if the credit card number was obtained from purchases made at sharperImage.com while using our secure server. For this protection, you must promptly notify your credit card company of any fraudulent charges and follow the procedures for doing so as outlined in your credit card agreement.
How You Can Tell You're Browsing a Secure Website. In order to be sure that information transferred between your browser and the SharperImage.com server is secure, it is important to be aware of the security information available to you through your browser. Once you enter the Checkout process (when you're ready to purchase the items you have put into your shopping basket), your connection to our server becomes secure. To confirm this, look at the bottom of your browser window. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), you can be sure that your information is secure. You can also ensure security by checking the URL line of your browser. When you enter the secure area of our site, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https".
Data Collection and Storage in a Secure Environment. In several areas of our site, we ask you to provide information by filling out and submitting an online form. These areas include: Checkout, where we ask for name, optional business name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, email, credit card and other information needed to complete your order. Optional Email Registration, where we ask for your email address. Optional Account Registration, where we ask for your name and email address and give you the opportunity to store your bill-to and ship-to details for easy online gift giving.
Once you've registered, you may click on My Account (at the top of any page) to edit or delete your information. All information relating to our customers is stored in a PCI compliant secure hosted environment and credit card information is never stored. Order and returns history are maintained in order to facilitate primary business operations between SharperImage.com and customers of our eCommerce store.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not targeted to children under thirteen (13) years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to promptly delete such personal information from our systems.
State Privacy Disclosures
As stated above, SharperImage.com does not respond to Do Not Track requests. A customer is able to control tracking activity via their browser settings if they desire to disable websites from tracking certain information regarding their browsing sessions.
Requests for information under your relevant state’s privacy laws, where applicable*, may be made via the contact sources above. You have the right to request information regarding the data collection, storage, and use as described above for your personal information within a 12-month lookback period. At any time, you may submit a request to delete information we have about you, or deactivate your account, if you have an account with us, by contacting us at customerservice@sharperimageonline.com or writing to us at the address above. California residents may request that we delete all of the information that we hold about them, but please note that there are exemptions to the right to delete.
The information collected is done so for business operations purposes and is necessary to facilitate the transactions between SharperImage.com and a consumer, including but not limited to: order placement, shipment, financial accounting, payment authorizations, prevention of fraud and malicious acts, to improve customer experience, to provide customer communications, for marketing purposes, and to identify and repair errors that impair existing and intended functionality.
You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Shine the Light. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83), California residents who provide us their personal information are entitled to request and obtain from us, free of charge, information about the personal information (if any) we have shared with third parties for their own direct marketing use; such requests may be made once per calendar year for information about any relevant third party sharing in the prior calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing by emailing us at customerservice@sharperimageonline.com, using the subject line "Request for California Privacy Information." In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address. We will reply to valid requests by sending a response to the email address from which you submitted your request. Please note that not all information sharing is covered by the "Shine the Light" requirements and only information on covered sharing and the relevant details required by the Shine the Light law will be included in our response.
