Q: What's the difference between a Gift Card and an Electronic Gift Card?
The Electronic Gift Card is sent to your email address within 1-2 business days of placing your order. You can then print out and give to someone, or forward the email to them. They can use the code immediately to purchase merchandise at www.sharperimage.com. When purchasing a Gift Card, the card of your choice will be mailed to you in 3-5 business days.
Q: How do I purchase a Gift Card?
Visit the Gift Card product page and select either an Electronic Gift Card (emailed) or your choice of a physical Gift Card (mailed). Choose the dollar amount you want and add it to your cart. We offer denominations of $50, $75, $100, $150, $200, $250 and $500. Complete the normal checkout process and you're done!
Q: How do I redeem a Gift Card?
Electronic Gift Cards & Gift Cards Gift are only redeemable at SharperImage.com. Once you've located the item that you want, proceed to Check Out. Enter the Gift Card number on the Payment Page and you're all set! Please keep in mind only one Gift Card can be redeemed per order.
Q: What should I do if my order is greater than my Gift Card amount?
Hang on to your Gift Card code. When you're ready to buy your next item you can use the remaining money on your Gift Card toward your purchase.
Q: Can my Gift Card be returned or redeemed for cash?
No, you must use your Gift Card to purchase merchandise.
Q: What if I need to return a product that I paid for with a Gift Card?
Follow the normal return policy. If your Gift Card is still active, we'll credit it. If you used both a Gift Card and another form of payment, we will first credit or replace the Gift Card with the amount originally deducted from it and then credit your other form of payment for the balance.
Q: What if my Gift Card Number is lost or stolen?
We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen Gift Cards. We may be able to resend the email with the Electronic Gift Card information to the original purchaser of the Gift Card. Please call 1-877-714-7444 if you lose your Electronic Gift Card.
Q: When will my Gift Card expire?
Your Gift Card will never expire and we do not charge dormancy fees unless otherwise notified.
Q: Are Gift Cards purchases taxed?
No. The state does not tax Gift Card purchases. However, when you or the person you give it to uses the card for a purchase, that purchase will be taxed by the state – ONLY if your purchase will be shipped to Michigan or Tennessee. Otherwise, you don't have to worry about taxes.
