The Celestron® NexStar 60 SLT is a high-quality computerized telescope that features a 60mm refractor optical system (with a 700mm focal length) for viewing the best of what the sky has to offer.
SkyAlign technology and a Star Pointer Finderscope with a red LED accurately locate terrestrial objects —also features a database of over 4,000 celestial objects such as stars, planets, moons and nebulae. Take a Constellation Tour to see the best objects in that area.
Easy-to-operate controls include vertical/horizontal positioning knobs. Other features include a quick-release fork arm mount; a preassembled, adjustable steel tripod; accessory tray; and a computerized flash-upgradeable hand control with backlit LCD screen.
Includes CD-ROM astronomy software entitled, "The Sky" that provides educational information and printable sky maps; and two 1.25-inch eyepieces (25mm low-power and 9mm high-power).
Plugs into outlet with 12V AC adapter or runs on 8 AA batteries (order separately). Star Pointer runs on one 3V CR2032 battery (included). Two-year warranty.
