Review Content Good idea, but too heavy It was easy to install and use. I couldnt put it in any of my hip pouches, and is too bulky for a pants pocket. My i-Phone is heavy enough, but adding the key pad made it more than I wanted to carry on a continual basis. I use it at my desk, and do enjouy it. It is good got folks with fat fingers. iPhone Keyboard Very handy but alittle heavy & bulky!Still fits in case though Slide Out Keyboard It is not convenient to use with a phone case, therefore the item will have to be returned. Its a real key pad, great feeling using When using the key pad, it does not allow you to use the I Phone case, it becomes to thick! It works. Gift that I asked for. It works great, but is not backlit, so can not see in dark. If it had this feature, I wouldnt ask for anything more. I am otherwise satisfied. Just Okay All things considered it would just be easier in the long run to get used to the on screen keyboard in the IPhone. It is compact but heavy and the backlight is fairly useless. If you are used to a slide then you may be able to overlook these two things. Battery life is good. Bluetooth connective keyboard It was a fantastic idea and had it fit the iphone 5 would have been wonderful it syncd perfectly by bluetooth and worked well. the added weight and size wouldnt be an issue, only it wasnt long enough for the iphone 5 and i had to return it. once they make a version for the 5 then it will be PERFECT Bought this for my wife for Christmas A very nice addition to the iphone. If shes happy, Im happy. She likes it. Personally I think a back lit keyboard would be nice but that would also cut into the battery charge. There are always pros and cons. This is not a cheap/flimsy accessory. It is very well made. Ive gotten used to the light wieght one handed manipulation of the device but was still a believer in the need for an actual keyboard as I am a defector from the Blackberry world. This product is an absolutely ingenious device and will most likely bring the rest of the BB users over as long as they havent had a chance to get totally acclamated to the wieght and feel of the iphone as it is before the addition of this great device. Otherwise, the wieght and unbalanced feel of the keyboard placement will be a factor. Above my Expectations! I am not comfortable with the iphone touch pad.this has solved the problem! It needs a backlight on the keyboard for use at night. so easy to install and hook up to iphone. have the ability to use either keyboard! Great product!!! Cool Attachment - Really not practical When first seen this, I liked it as reminded me of the power use on my blackberrys (wore out five of them before switching to iPhone). Not a fan of the iPhone keyboard for anything long, I assumed that this slide out keyboard would afford the best of both worlds - great technology of the iPhone, ease and use of a blackberry styled keyboard. While the keyboard is really nice, it adds so much weight to the iPhone that it makes it difficult to say, put the phone in your pocket. The iPhone is heavy per se, then using it as a display, causes it to be top heavy. Though you can angle the phone like a desktop, it is something I would not recommend UNLESS you only use your phone when sitting down. Not something you would want to use waiting in line at security. great keyboard I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend. She was an avid Blackberry user. Her company recently switched to the iPhone and to her dismay did not have a keyboard. I bought her this keyboard and she absolutely loves it. She needs to sometimes do long emails and this keyboard assists her in completing it in a timely manner. She just loves the keyboard! Works great I bought this for my son. I am not sure why he wanted it as I personally dont see the need for it. But, it was easy to set up, is durable, and works as promised. My son is happy with it so I guess if you feel the need to have a traditional keyboard than this is a good solution. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is not very protective in the way of a phone case. Will bring the final Blackberry users to the I Phone IPhone Keyboard The keypad on the IPhone is far from speedy to use due to the touch keypad. This additional keyboard helps a lot but bear in mind it is like adding another IPhone so it is thicker and heavier. The special characters, numbers and capital letter are difficult to use and return to the normal keypad.
