"Exactly what I wanted"
This is what I wanted for my hard-of-heating husband. The light wake up is exactly what he needed to get up in the mornings. Plus, it has many extras that are great!
Easy way to wake up
Very easy set up and use. Just really love the way you easily wake up to the soft light (or bright light if you wish) and the choice of sounds (I use the relaxing bird sounds to wake up to). Starts my day off in a relaxed way instead of the harsh beeps of an standard alarm clock.

Best alarm ever
Very pleasant way to wake up in the morning. The sounds are soothing and the light is gentle but effective.
Great features, works well
Ive owned three different "sunlight" alarm clocks by different manufacturers, and this is by far the best. The nature-themed sounds are pleasant, and the light can be as bright or as dim as you choose. The settings are easy to figure out, and you can set 2 separate alarms (for weekday/weekend settings or for you and your mate). The only downside to this product is that it is rather large -- about the size of a bedside lamp. Make sure you are OK with the measurements before you buy, and you wont be disappointed!
So many great features
No more being scared awake. The gradual light function is great in the winter. To activate the snooze, you just press the top of the lamp- no fumbling for a tiny button! Set up the first time is not difficult but you will need to read the instructions. You wont just figure it out. I have not used the sleep function or the radio. Possible future feature: instead of the radio or sounds, I wish the light would start gradually 10 or 15 min before wake up and then activate an actual alarm sound that starts gradually and builds to full volume in 15-30 seconds at the wake up time.

Controls are a little confusing but once you figure it out, it works. Wakes me up peacefully and I am not a morning person.
Like But Not Love
I bought this to gradually wake me up in the mornings because my bedroom is very dark and I thought a slow, gradual lighting of the room would be a nice way to wake. This alarm isnt as gradual as Id like; it seems kind of harsh, even with the lighting turned to a low setting. The controls/buttons are small and not easy to read, and the entire thing is just kind of bulky and an odd shape. I used a Groupon to buy most of this item so Ill probably keep it, but had I paid the full price Id return it and look for something else.

I love the sleep feature, its very soothing and the volume control is easy. Waking up I have to make sure I put it on bright or I wont fully wake up, but the concept has helped me start getting up at 6 AM instead of 7 AM so I can get up early to work out. Yay!
The controls were a little confusing at first but if you just read the directions and play with it, youre all set. The variety of sounds is sufficient and I like that you can do the sound slowly increasing as well. Couldnt get any better.
Nice idea
I like the concept but find the settings difficult. The buttons also click loudly when you are setting the alarm, time or other items. It does work well, it is smaller than most but the design leaves something to be desired.
A new concept in waking up
It is a new way to wake up with or without sound. It takes up the entire nightstand and could be made smaller, controls are complex and need to have the instructions nearby in order to figure it out.
Just what she wanted
Somewhat larger than necessary but the light is nice and soft. Just what a tough waker needed. Attractive and very interesting looking at the bedside. Thank you for the coupon, I am happy to recommend this for use.

I have used this product for a couple weeks now and I couldnt be more obsessed! I first heard of alarm clocks like this in a psych class and then stumbled upon it online. Sure, it is a bit expensive but so worth it!
First of all, I am not jolted awake in the middle of a R.E.M cycle so I am so much more awake and once Im up, Im up.
I would recommend this product with enthusiasm
Good product but a little pricey
This product fulfills its basic function. It wakes you up in a soothing fashion with soft, ambient lighting and pleasant sounds. The setup was a bit tricky and seemed unnecessarily complicated. I had to read the instructions a couple of times. In the end, however, I was very happy with how its worked for me. I would say overall it is worth it for the health benefits- maybe slightly overpriced.
