Love this for relaxing sleep
Great idea, poor execution
I bought this as a gift for my wife who doesnt like complicated gadgets, thinking it would be easy for her to use. I was wrong. At first the clock didnt respond to my wifes voice at all. Only after a lot of experimenting did we figure out that the clock prefers deep voices. So my wife got it to work, sort of, by talking in a deeper voice. The clock recognizes the correct commands Id say about 50% of the time. After that, we could not figure out how to get the clock to snooze. The manual says to tap the LED screen to snooze, which does not work at all. The other option is to wait for a pause in the alarm sound to actually say "snooze," but that doesnt work when you wake up to the radio. We had a lot of fun trying to figure that out at 6 am in the morning. As a last ditch effort, I tried updating the software via the website. After many attempts I could never get my computer to recognize the clock when it was plugged in, even though the instructions say just to plug it in. That was the last st

Fun addition to the night table
It is new for me to have something voice activated, but very fun. Since I am not a morning person, I was looking for help in waking me up and keeping me awake. I was hoping so set one alarm at one time, with its own sound and a second alarm at a later time with a different sound. I can set this, but the second alarm does not seem to go off if the first alarm is still active. The other unexpected thing with Ivee is the brightness of the display light. Even though it will sightly dim in the dark, it is still very bright and glows over a fairly large area. I need to turn it away from my bed to get the light off me.
Aside from those things, it is a good product and I am enjoying the novelty.

It is a great product. I tried the voice command for snooze, but I got so frustrated so I started manually turning the alarm off. It has a night light and calming sleep music. Overall, pleased with my purchase.
Great for the technology challenged
I bought this for my 84 year old mother who has a hard time with any type of technology. She was able to set it very easily and loves it. Great product!

This is an attractive alarm colck, easy to use but had a couple that cons that I needed. It did not have an auto shutoff for the alarm, so if I was up and left before it went off, it would still be "buzzing" when I got home. Also I wanted to be able to preset the alarm by day for the week because I get up at different times on the weekend. This left me to setting the alarm daily.
Fun but quirky
I love that "she" answers when addressed, in a lovely voice, and when she understands my request (usually to set the alarm for the following morning) the clock and alarm work well. I also like that I can control the level (how loud) and type (selected music, etc) of alarm sound. I am a light sleeper and dislike a loud harsh alarm. But despite my clear strong voice, unless I am positioned directly in front of the device "Ivee" doesnt understand my requests -- so asking her to shut off the alarm can be frustrating. I would also have liked a simple means of manual turn off that doesnt require turning on the light. I usually wake up before the alarm and like to shut it off before waking up the hubby.

Easy to see display. Alarm sound choices and volume controls disappointing. Easy to use. Overall I like this alarm however I wish it had more options.

Highly functional and great value
My husband loves this clock!Theres a bit of a learning curve for all the commands but its a cinch after that. Its bright, responsive, voice is a little loud. Very practical and well worth the money.

A great clock if you wear glasses!
I bought this clock for my son, so he could see what time it is without having to put on his glasses. It is working very well, and I would recommend it for anyone who might want or need to check the time, especially at night, without having to find their glasses.
Perfect for people with bad eyesight
The ivee Voice Command Alarm Clock is perfect for people, like myself, with bad eyesight. I cant see a thing when I wake up in the morning before I put glasses or contacts on but now I can just ask ivee what time it is and shell tell me. No more need to, literally, wake my boyfriend up every morning and ask him what time it is.
Hey Ivee
I have really enjoyed using this device. The numbers are large and clear, a pleasing blue color. The voice is nice, and the machine is pretty responsive. Its wonderful to be able to turn on the radio, program or to turn off the alarm without getting out of bed, and check the time without rolling over to look at the clock. The two downsides are that it is WAY too bright at night, even with the autodim feature. I have 6 layers of colored film over the face and I am going to add a couple more. It needs a dimmer control. Secondly, you cant turn off the radio by voice command (Ivee cant hear you when she is singing), and the nice, smooth face of the device makes it very hard to find the place to touch to turn off the radio when I am up before dawn for work. The control plate is extremely sensitive so just brushing it in the wrong place will activate features you arent looking for. I am going to put a dot of glue there so my finger can find the spot. Other than these two problems, I am delighted with
Great clock / talks when it shouldnt
Ivee wakes me up in the middle of the night talking about random things. I want her to shut up!!! What is the command for that?
Otherwise, it is a great alarm clock.
Great Alarm Clock
This is a great alarm clock. No more fumbling with buttons to set the time or alarms. The voice recognition system works really well. Id recommend this to anybody who hates setting their current clock or has limited vision. The only drawback is that the blue LED display light is a little brighter than wed like at night. We just turn it away from the bed.
Returning, Maybe Just A Bad One?
This was a Xmas gift for my husband. He liked IVEE. We read directions carefully and she seemed to work but not IVEE/touch. We tried reset button before deciding to return, as she could not seem to hear us. I like the idea if you get one that works!

This alarm clock acutally works! Talk to it as per the instuction an it will answer you commands set alarms 1 or 2, play sounds to lul you to sleep. workss great. If you talk loud around it, it will think youre talking to it, but wont understand you.

I got a Flex a couple months ago that was not good at all. I contacted the manufacturer and was informed that a few of the units that shipped, were not working well, and that they had updated the firmware along with other issues, and assured me, I would see a world of difference. WOW! My new unit is fantastic, great, awesome, fun, and sassy. Ivee understands and answers correctly, 99% of the time and given distractions going on around, that is very good. Temperature is asked for and given back in degrees F/C. A daylight savings time switch is on back (I like that because I hate changing clocks), dual alarms, 6 sleep and 6 alarms sounds and it seems that the speaker is much better than my poor Ivee (maybe a bit too good because I had to put a small decorative doily under her to absorb her accoustics (a bit loud on just a couple settings), display is large and pretty. What worked was great...
The voice is nice, and its great to be able to lie in bed and ask the time without turning a light on. However, one design flaw is that you have to cover the display with something if you dont want it to create light in your room (you cant totally dim the display). Worse, my unit occasionally told me the voice volume was set to medium, even though I hadnt touched the volume switch on the back, and one of the more complicated voice controls just wouldnt work. As I couldnt risk this thing waking me up in the middle of the night, and the other flaws bugged me too much, I returned it...

Like waking up to radio instead of alarm sound. Can only turn sound off manually, not with voice command.
Not Happy!
Not happy with my Ivee,
it looses time, if power fails when it comes back on the radio is not on one of my presets usually just static.
The display lights up my whole room why cant it be infinitely adjustable?
I want to play the radio for x minutes before I go to sleep how do I do that?

I love this attractive little alarm. Wanted something easy to set and it is. Easy to hit the snooze, also. Also easy to program in radio presets. Large numbers, easy to see in dark. Only drawback is when the alarm goes off in the morning, you cant see the button to turn it off without turning on the light. I bought two more as gifts.

Wife loves her new alarm clock!
We realy like this alarm clock but there are some issues. The alarm sounds dont fade in like the alarm radio does, which is really cool. The alarm sound just comes on abruptly and keeps sounding over and over again instead of a constant music. The display brightness is too bright even on the lowest setting. The alarm sound is also much louder on its lowest level than we like. The voice prompt will come on with a loud sound like laughing or talking.
The talking alarm clock is really great!
It provides easy access to information, such as, day and temperature. I really like the product, however, red nos. would be easier to see in daylight as well at night instead of blue.

Disappointing...
Loved the concept and excited to give it to my wife, the gadget queen but we so disappointed when it would not respond to voice commands very well. They need to work how the clock recognizes commands. We tried quiet and loud voices, quiet background but nothing helped. We wanted to like it.
Nice Clock
I like the clock. It looks nice and modern. The voice recognition has its moments when it wants to listen to you and it can get a little aggravating when it doesnt understand what you are saying when even you are talking slow.
Ivee is very nice, big display &bright
I found out there are various Ivee clocks which have more options. The IVEE FLEX has the most alarm sounds and sleep sounds.. Initial set-up is very simple...but read the manual for advanced stuff and changing settings. It is great to set the alarm in the dark by talking to the phone..Great when you get in late and want to go to bed! Very bright display...no night light needed! I bought this phone for the LARGE DISPLAY!

My husband saw the clock in the catalog and had to have it. He then bought each of his brothers and sister one. Her voice changes in pleasant tones each time you ask for the time, temperature, date, or what time the alarm is set for and which tone or radio is on. We love it.
Awesome clock!
This is a great product. You can use almost any command. The only cons are that when speaking out loud she sometimes picks up voices. In addition, you have to know the right command to get what you want.
I Love Ivee
I purchased this clock for my father who lives alone. Hes getting old so he has a hard time seeing and I thought this clock would be perfect. Turns out it really is. All he has to do is ask "Ivee" to set the alarm for a certain time and the clock does it for. He always shows me when I come over how he can ask "Ivee" the time and temperature. He really gets a kick out of it.
IVEE Voice Command alarm clock
I do like the IVEE clock. Its a little too bright on the display, even with the setting as dim as it goes. So Ive had to put a scarf over it to dim it down, otherwise it lights up the room at night.
I love being able to voice command it. I need to study the commands a little more thoroughly so that I can memorize the commands I need to use.
