Reading has become a pleasure!
My husband likes to do his reading sitting in his recliner and this lamp greatly enhances his ability to see the written word. It also has a great look and style and fits in wonderfully with our contemporary furniture. It has been set up since the day after Christmas and so far I have nothing negative to say about it. Its great!

Good light, but ...
The natural light is good for working with crafts, in my case art knitting. On the other hand, the light doesnt sit low enough to prevent glare, and the glare shield didnt "lift out" to accomodate the bulb. I had to unscrew the face plate entirely to slip the bulb in, risking breaking the applicance.

I would buy this product again!
I bought this floor lamp for my husband for his birthday. It replaced an older, cheaper, broken floor lamp. We love our new floor lamp! My daughter-in-law is a quilter and she keeps hinting about how she would like to have a light just like it.

The Best Mobile Lighting Experience
This spectrum light provides the best "additional Light" for many of the activities we do at home, expecially in the winter time, when it gets dark so much earlier. I feel secure that my sons eyes are well protected by receiving additional light for his school assignments and my husband and I can do our 1000 piece puzzle romantically under this helpful light. Outside of sunlight, this is the best light ever. Also, the brightness can be adjusted to two other settings, which gives it flexibility for many different users. I loved this light so much, that after purchasing one last year as a Christmas gift to myself, I did the same thing this year. I am very pleased.

Excellent reading light!
Terrific light! It gives off just the right amount of light and has 3 intensity settings. It also takes up little space. Some floor lights are top heavy but not this one! The base is weighted so the light is very stable.

This lamp cut out all the glare while reading and it allows 3 different degrees of light. It also does not reflect into the TV while in use. My eyes do not get as tired while reading.

Finally, the perfect pair.

My husband uses this in his den. He reads several books or more a week and this light is easy on his eyes. Great natural light. The replacement bulbs can be mailed to your home by calling the number Sharper Image supplied or they said they are available at most hardware stores.

the husband loves it
Its a decent quality lamp. I like that the base is very heavy and will not topple over. The switch is a bit strange as you have to go from brightest to dimmest in turning it off and on. Its great for close up work and general lighting.
