Always quality

White light to read in the winter gray.
Reading by a window in winter is difficult because of the gray skies and muted light. If your eyes are not as young as your spirit, this white light is just enough to make the reading easy, which a normal incandescent bulb does not do.

Bulb or something not working
This was a Christmas gift for my husbands home desk. He loved the look & the lamp for the day that it stayed on. I ordered a new bulb, and I hope thats the problem. But beware, the bulbs are pricey.

Late night into daylight at my desk.
At my home desk, I can sometimes grow weary as night time enfolds my work space. No so when I power on my Verilux desk lamp. Even working into late night, the Verilux light defies my senses, in a good way, and provides an indoor light that seems almost daylight.

great while it lasted
Lamp was used intensely in a research environment. While it lasted, the lamp provided excellent lighting. However, after about 1 year, the lamp failed to work. I ordered a replacement bulb, but that didnt help. Now I have a bulky paper weight. Very disappointed that it didnt last longer.
