Review Content Sound Soother White Noise Machine I work the midnight shift and sleep during the day. I live on a busy street with a lot of traffick.I use the Sound Machine five days a week and it really cuts out the background traffick noise. It helps me get sound sleep. Bought as a gift. Tested it. Works Great Bought as a gift. We tested it prior to wrapping and were very pleased with unit and sounds. Easy to use, sound level adjustment Great for sleeping by a light sleeper. It gets very loud. We use it in place of a fan for noise. Soothing & Realistic Great selection of sounds, plenty of volume, variable timer for duration of sound or play continuous. Good clock Clock is a little bright even on its lowest setting. Slightly tinny, but not bad. Pretty Good I dont like the location of the snooze and on/off buttons. It often hit the larger snooze button instead of the off button in the mornings. Mine has a buzz or hum when its on and the volume is low. nice and soothing Its so calming...all the sounds Irritating Radio Alarm Feature The radio alarm has a "feature" that, when the radio first comes on it plays softly and then the volume automatically increases until it is annoying loud. I cant find a way to control the volume of this feature. When I hit the volume switch to turn down the sound, it turns off the radio entirely. I just want to wake to soft music and listen for a while before I get up. I dont want to be blasted. I dislike the so much that I am returning the product. Great Alarm Clock The alarm clock works great! I love the soothing sounds that help drown out other noises as you try to fall asleep. The only negatives that I can think of are that it does not include an AM/FM radio, and I wish the clock display was a bit larger (for those of us w/ not so great of eyes). Other than that, its exactly as described and works perfect!
