Review Content This product has been a lifesaver. I bought this for my daughter so she can watch tv in the same room as me while I am studying and it has been great. The only problem is that I can still hear some of the noise coming out of her headphones if the volume is dialed up too high. Other than that, they work great and setting up was easy. Also, they are always on the charger so battery life is not a problem. Sony Wireless TV Headphones Setup instructions seemed easy to follow, the product works wonderfully! The only draw back I see is that you really cant lay down with them on, otherwise a great buy! Great cordless headphones Headphones work great. You can hear so much detail in movies and shows. I can wear them and the rest of the house can stay quiet, it is great for peace in our home. I love this product I bought these for my 18 year old son he loves them and also the stand is very nice to help protect them from breakage. You and your spouse will love it!! I bought these after I read the reviews and it did not disappoint. I bought these for my wife since she likes to watch TV b4 she goes to sleep. She likes them, and says they are comfortable. So its a WIN-WIN for both. She gets to watch TV at normal volume setting and I get some sleep = happy marrige Just what I needed!! These Headphones are very comfortable and easy to use. I dont bother my wife with the TV turned up too high anymore. She is happy too!!!! They fit great and have a great sound, and the Ni-Cad battery last a long time. They work great in small area the power switch is hard to get at - large fingers you would have a difficult time. Cant go very far but for me its plenty far Wireless Headphones.... I use these to either play my Xbox360 or to watch TV at night while my wife goes to sleep. They work very well and the sound quality is amazingly clear. You have to turn the TV volume up a little bit for the headphones to work; otherwise, you will only hear static, but the lower the TV volume, the more static you hear. I turn the TV volume to just above a whisper and the headphones work perfectly. Great product! Bought these as a gift for my father because he has a hard time hearing to television when they have company over. I set them up for him and it was super easy. The sound that was produced by the headphones was great! He really liked the design. He said they were pretty comfortable and light weight. Have not tested out the battery life or range on them yet being he just received them. Overall a great buy! Very uncomfortable headphones There is no padding on the top of the headphone and poor padding over the ear pieces. The best use is to sit still and listen to TV (which it was designed for), as it has a limited range as far as moving around while listening. That means if you are in the kitchen cooking, you may move out of range to the side if you walk over to the fridge. That can be used to advantage if you get up during the commercials: it will lose the sound if you step to the side to do something. Also, you cant move too far away from the sending device. At 35 feet, the sound can get crackly. For most people that would not be problem. It has very good volume control, which is why I bought them. The volume control on the headphone are very easy to operate, but may irritate some left-handed people, as they are on the right. It is just a small dial, so easy to manage for most people. The headphones are fairly comfortable (not as good as Bose, but then they are much cheaper than Bose), but they feel like they could easily fall off or slip. Good sound - needs to fit snugger The band between ear pieces has stretched (relaxed) so does not effectively hold the headset snuggly on my head. I like to be up and about doing miscellaneous projects laundry, cleaning, etc. but they readily fall off when I bend over, or tip my head down. Easy set up Make sure you have a clear unblocked line of sight or signal may fade. Product is worth its price I really enjoy my headphones at night. My mate is a early to bed person and I am not. This way I can watch a late night movie and not bother anyone. I only wish I could adjust the fit a little better. Or if I could attach ear buds to the headphones would be great. Fantastic! Great high quality infra red technology After seeing the positive responses relative to Sony Wireless Headphones, while morning the death of my Songbird hearing aid, I decided to give the Sony system a try and see if I am able to enjoy TV without hurting "Bat Girls" ears (my wife - with her super human hearing!). I happen to be an engineer well versed in IR applications, so was a bit curious about the system that Sony selected. Surprise! Signal to noise ratio is in league with the 80db ratio mixers I designed for Shure Microphones. Frequency response is such that clarity is equal to my Songbird [Actually better, because of stereo programming into both my ears]. Radiation propagation at 15 feet is equal to 90 degrees plus and minus of head rotation, meaning if mirrors and bright colored reflections of transmitter would extend this directionality. System is not analog, so reception coupling is very solid as if by wire. Obviously I make the wireless phones a 5 star system - with the only very minor drawback being, I have to be careful in p my wife can sleep now. the best Tranquility in our new home... We recently moved to an apartment and each need our space. This headset has simplified our lives by allowing one of us to listen to music or tv without disturbing the others sleep or peace to relax and read. He is hard of hearing and turns the TV up real loud and everyone else cant hear their own tvs. This allows him just to hear his own. My son hook them up for him thru a vcr because his tv was too old. Perfect gift. Not what I expected I guess I was expecting a true wireless headphone. The headphones require you to use the earphones jack. This cuts audio to the external speakers. Most current HD TVs are mounted on walls. Sooo, you have this extra SHORT cable trying to power and supply audio to the headphones. I was looking for true wireless headphones that do not require you to plu the earphone jack up, in the back of the TV. I plan on returning this product to the retailer. Needs More Info in the Description I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and was hoping that it would let me get some sleep! Well, it was a great idea, but they are not compatible with my bedroom tv (which we bought last year!) Theyll work with the older living room tv (?!) but I wanted them for the bedroom. Overall a pretty good buy These headphones were purchased as a Fathers Day gift for my husband who enjoys falling asleep with the tv on, while I prefer to fall asleep in quiet. They have been a nice compromise. The range said 150 feet, however, if he goes into our adjoining bathroom wearing them they cut out (less than 150 feet). He also notices some static while wearing them too. Not what I thought I thought that I would be able to hear TV when my husband wore the headset. It doesnt work that way. The sound is totally shut off for me. Sorry I had to return them. Otherwise they were good. dont judge a book by its cover I use it mostly when i am in bed. I find the bulky ear pads and antenna on top make it hard to get comfortable. I also find that the right ear phone is not as loud as the left,and has a lot of static which i find annoying. On the TV that is in the living room i do not have to turn the TV volume input off to hear the head phone. I have a new TV in the bedroom (not the same model} and the head phones only work if I turn the input volume Off,this is not a good feature unless my husband has an earphone or doesnt mind lip reading. I would recommend them to a friend depending on how they are going to use them. Hearing conversations on Movies I am now re-seeing movies Ive seen before and able to follow them better. I take it with me when I see movies at a neighbors. I have Macular and It helps to hear t he dialogue because I am not seeing the movie real clearly. Only proble I had with it early on was the person who was helping me plugged it in so nobody else could hear. I bought the headphones because when I watch a movie on Netflix, I like to have the volume turned up. It doesnt do any good to have a home theatre system if you cant hear it properly. Using the headphones allows me to have the sound where I want it, yet not disturb my wife in the family room. The headphones work great, with only two issues: sometimes, you can hear a wind-like sound in your ears; if the cradle is accidently jostled or even slighty moved, the charging light goes out, and you have to readjust the headphones on the cradle. Battery lasts a long time. However, they are difficult to seat in the charger base correctly, especially for the elderly. Must be fiddled with to get the red light to come on for charging. I put a piece of colored tape on the headphones and the charger base to help to line up to charge. getting together purchased 1 for my husband...I liked it so much bought 1 for myself can be used on my tv in other room or I can wear them while watching the tv with my hubby where he watches in his tv room I can finally get some sleep!!
