I AM HIGHLY SATISFIED
I use this product to watch movies that involve fast speaking actors in a complicated plot so that i can better distinguish what is being said. I also use it when watching tv late at night so as not to disturb others or when my grandchildren are visiting and sleeping.

these are great and one of the best investments i have made in a long time,the range is very good i can even go to the mail box out side and still hear the tv . also with these the wife can run the volume on the tv at what ever setting she wants and i can turn up the volume for what is comfortable for me . They are a little pricey but in the long run they are well worth the money.Also sharper Image was great to deal with. I will use them again. very fast on the shipping

First one that works
When I walk on the treadmill, I like to watch TV, but because of the noise of the machine, I cant hear the television and have to turn the sound up too high. I previously bought 2 other sets of headphones, but they posed problems and eventually stopped working. This set from Sony is the first one that actually works. I like that it recharges after each use, and I love the stereo quality of the sound. Great product and a great price.
Play it Loud While She Sleeps
Were retired with opposite sleeping habits. I often awake before 5am while my wife wakes around 830am. I ONLY watch programs recorded on my DVR.

Auto-on when you pick them up out of the charging cradle, auto-off and auto-charge when you put them back. Couldnt be easier! Very good sound, and Im picky. Very comfortable for long sessions.
I love the full sound quality
I use it to watch TV. I almost returned the product due to its shutting off after 10 minutes or so. I finally discovered that the plug-in was up-side-down in the wall. After turning it over, (vertical)it was perfect.

Excellent Product
I purchased the product for my mother and she is extremely hard of hearing. She used to watch TV using the closed caption feature but, now with the assistance of this product she is able to HEAR what is going on! I am hard of hearing and watching television with my wife was difficult. For me to hear, the tv volume was too high, now I can hear and turn the volume of the tv to zero. Perfect for my needs.
Keeps our marriage happy as we have two.
My husband is quite deaf so he can turn his earphones up without deafening me as we have two sets. We like that we can walk from room to room and still have the sound. At first, it seemed a little bulky but we are used to them now. I like not having to change batteries all the time.

I bought these headphones for my elderly mother who is hard of hearing and has a hard time with gadgets. These are simple to work. Not many buttons and just set them in the battery charger compartment and you are done. Works very well for her. We do not have to work with batteries or anything. A huge step forward for her.

Ive had these headphones in regular use for well over 3 years and have to say they are one of the best investments Ive ever made!! Before these headphones I was muting the sound and using the CLOSED CAPTION so I didnt wake my early riser/sleeping husband! Yeah, I took one for the team! Theyre very comfortable, (I wear them for up to 3hrs at night in bed), and provide crisp, clear, auto on/off sound with no hissing or interference as a few have complained about. I can go from the bedroom down the hall, to check on our son, without losing sound or sound quality and the battery is still going strong after 3+ years of daily use! The charging dock is simple to use and not terribly obnoxious looking if you have to have it out on display. I read a few comments/complaints from others that said they didnt like the fact that others in the room couldnt hear sound through the TV if the headset was in use. Not the case for me... I can hear through the headset and the television at the same time if I turn the TV vo
Great wireless headphones for TV use!!
I use this with my TV. Great sound - nice and clear - hear things that I would miss otherwise. The only drawback is they will just click off on their own. If you move a certain way it clicks off and then back on. I would still recommend them though as the clarity is worth the drawback.

Our dogs love it when we wear these because the house is so quiet! My husband started wearing headphones to listen to tv long before I did but when I finally tried them I was hooked! You can hear people speaking so much more clearly and I can walk around the house listening to tv so I get so much more done rather than sitting in front of the tv. charging needs help
bought 2 - one for Dad who uses all the time and one for me. Neither charge well--lack magnetism for charging so have to use block of wood to hold headphones to charger. Otherwise, sound is good.

We orginially bought this for a hard-of-hearing older relative and couldnt get them to work on their TV (wed even bought a new flatscreen HDTV for them). We brought them back home with us and they work great on our TV. Guess well be keeping them instead.
Really great headphones
Far better than cheaper ones that I have tried. These seem to work everywhere, even through the closed bathroom door. I havent tried to push the range; so, I cant say if it is really 150 feet. They are comfortable and allow me to turn the tv volume all the way down. So far the battery life is great, but i Havent used them for more than about 3 hours at a time. I recommend these very highly.
The best wireless headset for TV viewing
My husband has headset from another well-known electronic boutique store that is half the price,but we both still prefer the Sony. The Sony has a rechargeable battery, but can also use regular AAA. Its more comfortable around the ears. It turns on automatically once placed on head. The other brand has a switch you have to press to turn on, and if you are watching TV in bed and dont want to get up to turn off the headset, you are left trying to sleep with a bright blinking blue light from the switch.

I bought these for my husband, but they turned out to actually be a gift for me. He often stays up later than me and is able to watch TV without disturbing me. I like the way that he can mute the TV and still hear through the headphones. This is exactly why I bought these for him!

I got this to try to block out my noisy upstairs neighbor who loves to stomp on my head.
Sometimes in the morning its tricky to get it to turn on. And then the interference. I havent given up. I actually want to a second one so I can keep them fully charged. My neighbor IS THAT LOUD. As far as I can tell this is helping block out Thumpy. It is not 100% but it is less noticeable.
One thing I think helps with the interference is bringing the charger up front of the tv. So you have a more direct line of receiving. I get a lot of interference in the bathroom. Not sure why. And also in the kitchen.
Quality exceeds my previous headphones.
Far exceeds previous headphones I had (was not a Sony brand); no manually adjusting a tuner on this model – HUGE asset. Sound holds true from first floor to second floor. Occasional interruptions when at computer, but a minor shift to left or right fixes the interruption. So glad I purchased.

Great Purchase

quiet and comfy just what i was looking
I sleep odd hours,other half sleeps regular. Fewer grumps. It is also very noisy in the area, so these help block out the trucks, cars, numerous sirens,and assorted neighborhod noises.

Wireless headphones
You have to be somewhat technical to be able to set this up. After trial and error, got it to work. Still some areas with excessive background noise. Works well most of the time.

I bought the Sony T.V. headphones because of my trust in the Sony name. i also bought them because i believe in and trust Sharper Image. I have many quality products for yrs from them. i decided to by T.V. headphones because my wife would get a phone call and instead of leaving the room she would mute the t.v. For two hours id be stuck watching the screen saver. All the while i had to listen to a one sided conversation. Now i mute the T.V. and enjoy my shows in peace with no interruptions. I love everything about them with one exception. The plastic that holds the earphones to the head piece is to thin and every time they shift or move they create a tinting sound. Should be made of a much more dense plastic. This is the only reason i rated it a 4 star and not a 5 star rating. The earphones are comfortable and and quality made. Sound quality is good. the lower head rest is very comfortable, It is a good product to buy.

WORKS LIKE A CHARM!
Purchased these for my husband as a Christmas gift. He likes to watch TV at night while Im trying to sleep...and it winds up keeping me awake! They work fantastic- I cant hear a thing! And they work all the way out of the house to the firepit area of our back yard (pretty far distance!) so hes happy to be able to listen to his football games while out there!
Oh what a relief it is
I have tried several headphones and none compare to these. They are lightweght but fit snugly. I dont have to worry about them slipping off. When the kids are playing too loudly or I want to hear a beautiful singing voice on TV, I just put on my headphones and they "take me away". They close out all other sounds so that youre not inundated with outside distractions. Love these things!
Decent headphones
The sound quality on these headphones is good. I dont hear any static or echos while using it. However, the audio did skip on me a few times while wearing it. After a while, it stopped and was working fine. I use mine to watch TV and you definitely hear every sound from the TV that you probably wouldnt hear without the headphones. The range is good. I can wear my headphones downstairs to the kitchen and not miss hearing anything from the TV.
The CON I have about these headphones is that theyre a little uncomfortable to wear. I like to lean my head back against the headboard and when I do, it pushes my headphones forward and gives an uncomfortable feel to it. It also squeeks a lot when you try to adjust it...not a good thing since I use it in bed so I wouldnt disturb my wife while watching TV. The headphones are big and youll start to feel how heavy it is after wearing the headphones over an hour.

My husband is a little hard of hearing. He likes the volume LOUD. The rest of us have sensitve ears. We like the volume not so loud. With the headphones, everybody can be happy and watch the same shows. With a few extra hookups, we can modify the sound so that he can turn the volume up and we can use a normal volume.

My headphones
Ive have the noisiest upstairs neighbor in the world. He loves to thump on my head. So turning the tv up to block him out just increases the problem.
While these headphones dont entirely knock him out they decrease him by A LOT. Unless hes in real thumping mode I can now ignore him. And just sit back and watch tv.
I particularly like that these just plug right into the headphone jack on my tv. And being wireless I have less tripping hazards which is a HUGE point in their favor.
One trick Ive found for them is to bring the stand up front of the tv--causes less interference and you hear less popping and cracking while the system is trying to find the setting.
One big issue I had is if I unplugged from the tv I had problems getting it back. What Ive found that works bests is to leave the audio cord plugged into the tv all the time. Then it never has a reset issue.
Im hoping to get a second pair so I can always have a backup on the charger!

I purchased the Sony wireless headphones for my husband just before the NBA play-off and immediately blasted myself for not getting them earlier. Now I can enjoy my e-reader or better yet sleep in peace while my husband watches TV as loud or as long as he wants.

Sony Wireless Headphones Spot On!
I purchased these for my mother who resides in a nursing facility. She had complaints about the volume of her tv. I needed to find something comfortable AND easy to use. After much research I bought these and I am soooo happy with these. Extremely comfortable soft leather pads and large enough to completely cover her ears. No wires, no complicated set-up. Plus they turn on and off automatically when put on and taken off. When not in use she simply sets them in the charging cradle. No complaints now!

Excellent Sound Quality
We got these headphones so I would not keep my wife up during late night sporting events on TV. The sound is excellent; in fact better than the sound quality on the TV. The headphone fit well on my head but they are a bit clumsy. For example, as I lay back on a pillow, they will come off my head and so every time I move, I have to readjust. But if you need to "be quiet" in your room, these are the prefect tool for that.

Purchased these headphones for myself so that I would not bother my husband when watching television in bed at night. Problem solved! They were easy to set up. The sound quality is excellent. Best Wireless Headphones Ever
These are the best wireless headphones I have tried and Ive tried a bunch. My wife and I both use these every night to watch TV. Sound quality is great, easy to recharge, and batteries last 17 hours after a full charge. Youll never miss anything as the range is 150 feet so they pick up the sound anywhere in the house.
Love being able to hear TV
after about 1 minute I hear a loud click and then no sound... this just started happening.. My husband has difficulty hearing the dialogue on TV. We tried the amplifier box near the couch but it wasnt really adequate. The earphones are perfect when there is a show with a lot of dialogue and added background music. He doesnt have to ask me "What did they say?" now. It is only useful when we are alone because he couldnt carry on a conversation if we had guests. (We dont usually have company when we watch TV anyway.)

I bought this as a gift for my guy but I love wearing them too! These work really well for us because we like the volume on different levels when we watch tv and now we can have that without arguing. Bring back the lighter-weight ones! These are heavier and a lot bulkier! The other ones were just as good (sound-wise), and ere less expensive, also!
Awesome headsets
Im hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. I originally started using headsets about 5 years ago so I wouldnt disturb my wife due to the volumn I needed to hear. Because of the quality of these headsets, I wear them even when the wife isnt home as the sound is fantastic and they fit some comfortably. Bought a pair for each TV in the house.

Good product. Only small complaint is its bulky design. Headphone is designed to mold to head automatically, but would be nice to adjust and set the fitting myself.

I purchased this particular set because the headphone shuts off when you remove them from your head saving the life of the battery. The discription was attractive and just the qualities I was looking for and they deliver just as they are advertised. I gave them to an elderly man who has some hearing loss and was unable to understand some commentators, he was so pleased to hear so clearly what they were saying. This comes with a high recommendation. I plan to buy them for my husbands next bithday!!
Perfect Headphones!
I purchased these for my mother. She is on bedrest and is sometimes a nightowl. The headphones allow her to watch her favorite movies at night without waking up the rest of the house! Good, but could be better
I use the headset for listening to classical music. While the sound is usually quite good, the very highest notes are frequently distorted. Reception also seems too easily distorted by even small movements and changes of location.
