Disappointed
I bought these about a month ago and as of yesterday the right bud no longer works. I wasnt too thrilled with them to begin with because the cord is a little on the short side but the sound (which is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars) was very good for the price. I took really good care of them to ensure that they didnt break but apparently they are too sensitive.
Great sound, short cord
I used them with my portable DVD player in the airport and on the plane. The sound quality is excellent. These are truly noise-cancelling. My problem was that the cord even when lengthened as much as possible was still pretty short. Now, I have extension headphone cords that I can use in the future, but it was a little bit of a nuisance.
Cords too short
I bought these to use on the plane mostly and discovered that for reasons that only the engineers can determine, the cord to plug it in is too short to reach the place on the seat where you plug in ear phones! I couldnt believe that such a simple thing like cord length would have received that little attention from the makers of this. If I could return it, I would, because its not doing what it was supposed to!
Great sound!
I needed new earbuds so decided not to go cheap this time, and when I got them and tried to plug them into my work computer, I was disappointed because the cord is too short for me to use at work. However, my two-mile morning walks are greatly enhanced by the earbuds, as the noise-cancelling effect blocks out car noise from the street and they work very well with my mp3 player. Thanks, Sharper Image!
Satisfied but with reservation
I really like the sound factor about these earbuds. They muffle the extraneous sound very well, especially at the gym where the ever-present TV is always on full volume. Its compact and easy to use. Im sure that theyll be great on my next flight as well. The only thing that I would change is the extra strap between the two earbuds. For me personally I find it unnecessary. Otherwise its a great product and Im glad that I bought it.

I bought these for my 18 year old son and he loves them
Good sound
The sound canceling is very good, however, the weight of the control is not. it appears to be best when sitting and listening, not moving around.
Decent
The cord is indeed very short but if the player is in your shirt pocket, it works fine.
The noise cancellation is not the best but then the price is not that high either.
It fits me perfectly and I am actually beginning to like to "wear" it around my neck.
Works great & practical
I live in Chicago and ride the metra train to work everyday. These earphones are great at keeping out train and passenger noise, so much so that I almost miss my stop sometimes. LOVE these, want to buy another pair just in case I ever lose these.
