Review Content Finding a tie is much easier now. Bought a similar product for my husband for Xmas...it never worked right and was very noisy. He likes this one much better and can save time in the morning looking for just the right tie. Every organized gift to give love it Good price and practical gift for the working man. Motorized Tie Rack Holds a lot of ties in an organized fashion. I have used another brand and this appears to be superior. JFF Really helpful organizer -- I bought two! Good concept As above Works well Im using for belts, scarves, etc. rather than mens ties and it seems to work fine and keep clutter to a minimum. Excellent Product I bought two and am happy with them. Excellent capacity. Both were difficult to actually install, the screws wouldnt line up. Very convenient, helps organize life. Use is obvious, organized method for storing and using ties. Nothing else quite like it. YES this one works well...not all items in this category are as good Nice product, but poor info Pro: I wear ties every day and have this fully loaded with ties. Used for that, its an excellent product. Con: The tightening screws stick up too far for this to sit under most shelves, and the product info doesnt show or indicate how much overhead space is needed. And its worthless for belts because they interfere with the ties on the carousel. Great with one drawback The only drawback is the mounting mechanism. We have a wire rack closet system and the bulky screws on it make securing it difficult. But it works well. Just great Great item and my husband doesnt have a mess anymore. Get it! We would buy this product for a gift This was a replacemant for an older model that held more ties. My husband is a tie man and has more ties than this model holds. Love it! I used to hang my ties on a hanger. It was inconvenient and a hassle trying to get to the ties on the bottom. Also, my ties were getting wrinkled and did not look good. The motorized tie rack helped me organize my ties and provide easy access. I love it! Great Gift for Young Professional I recieved the motorized tie rack as a gift for Valentines Day and immediately loved it. I used to keep all my ties in a shoe box because I had so many and would often find it difficult to sort them when looking for one to match my outfit for the day. The tie rack works great and surprisingly keeps my ties from tangling with each other. I would recommend this as a gift to any young working professional. Its kind of fun to use as well. Wished it fit! The product is all that it claimed to be. Unfortunately, it just missed fitting the pole rack in the closet. Hope my next choice fits and has this products quality. Genius Idea My husband is loving this. STYLISH AND FUNCTIONAL This works fine, but it would be better with a pushbutton control. Also, the mounting system does not lend itself well to modular shelving systems that do not offer a round hanging rod. Works fine, BUT... Unit would not fit around normal wooden clothes rack. Installed steel clothes rack (Home Depot or Lowes) and unit fit steel pipe diameter. Works great! Quick easy access to my ties. Quite Useful Really good product to help stay neat and organized. In a dark room, the lit isnt that impressive, but really useful for someone who wears suits or shirt and tie to work daily Very functional The light helps tremendously. Great Tie Rack Bought this for my husband and he loves it. He used to hang his ties on hangars and could not see them all so with this spinning around he can find what he is looking for. Great product! Space Saver Nice light when used, but slow rotation...overall=cool Tie Rack Still Excellent Investment Bought one of these many years ago, and its about to give up. This new one is even better than the one Ive enjoyed for years. Stronger motor, more belt hooks. Waited for it to go on sale, because I was unsure about quality. Wouldnt hesitate again. Innovative, but Room for Improvement I purchased this product as a Fathers Day gift to myself after taking notice to the number of ties I was accumulating, and the number of those which became wrinkled from being slung around. The motorized tie rack from The Sharper Image seems like a great idea for those who have over twenty neck and bow ties and still is--the ties hang and no longer become wrinkled, my belts hang in the middle (although only six hooks for them), and the buttons used to control the movement is pretty cool. My only complaints would be that I had to strategically place the ties and belts on the rack so that it did not lean forward or back--but this sometimes will still happen as the rack circulates when youre in search of a tie to wear. My second complaint--which seems to be the cause of my first complaint--is that the holes used to secure the bar that is the original coat rack, does not tighten fully around the bar, causing it to tilt back and forth, without movement of the motorized rack itself, which can be daunting. I My husband loved it.! The light was nice when he is getting ready in the dark so I can continue to sleep.
