Review Content Just what was advertised. My wife and I both sleep better and it is a nice night light too! Love it! Great for bedtime with that drying winter heat on! A little over rated,but satisfactory. Please supply larger refills for purchase. This is my 4th Globe I notice that there is a lot less dust in the air, which is great because I hate to dust. I am going to buy ones additional ones Works greatin the bedroom. The various scents fill the room. Attractiveandunique Attractive easily managed Reasonably priced, and it works I wish it were just a tad smaller, so it would take up less space on my already book-laden night stand. I also dont care much for the scents that are bottled with purchase; scent-free would be better. That said, however, this REALLY does the job, and fast. Every winter when the damp sets in, my bedroom picks up a slightly mildewed odor; this cleaned it out in 24 hours. thank god I got it I bought it because my mom cooks everyday and when I come home from work, the house smells like food and I hate! it ! Now She has it turned on all day while she is cooking, and the house smells great! I bought 2 one for the kitchen and the other for my room. I love it. Excellent Evaporative Humidifier I have three of these, one in each bedroom and they are great. Description does not call it a humidifier but I think it is the best evaporative humidifier I have ever owned and it does a great job of cleaning the air too. "Too much whiz and not enough bang" Looks nice and has a nice light. The water doesnt last over 24 hours. I would buy this product again and again Works great, small, no filters. have 2-----they are great and do the job live in motor home and this is jus the rite size and does the job quite well Air Purifier Great with aroma oils. Makes a nice white noise sound too. Just wish the air flow was a bit more. I love this I really like this. It does seem to "Wash" the air. The scents that were shipped with it give off a very plesant smell and add to the fresh smell in the room. Set up was a snap and the instructions for use are very easy. Cleaning is a snap too. Outranks all others We have one in the kitchen and one in the family room/TV area. It totally eliminates food and smoke odors. Far outranks any other air purification system weve tried. Works better than I expected The water goes round and round creating a soothing (and adjustable) white noise, while the LED changes color that serves as a cool night light. A few drops of the aroma oil fills the room with a nice scent. Worth every cent! I think these Mini-Max units are great, in our home we have one in almost every room, absolutely no allergy issues this year so far, no runny eyes, or sneezing, itchy eyes, etc. All in all-------------worth every cent! not for people on the go I was not happy with the product because you could not just plug it in and leave it on 24/7. Previous air cleaner bulky and noisy. The water globe is attractive, easy to clean, and fascinating to watch. Good job with the design! All good - but how do you clean??? I like this prdoduct a lot but notice that it has begun to get some icky gunk inside the cone that moves the water. I tried to get it out with a q-tip but no luck. It seems impossible to remove and will surely continue to accumulate. A good modification to the design: allow users to remove the cone in order to clean! Amazing I set it up on my desk in my room and it started to work immediately. I used the microbe shield additive and it smells great! I accidentally put a little too much in the basin so it smells strong. It is a little loud, but it is relaxing, so it doesnt bother me. It also looks really neat. I cant really think of anything bad about this product! Terrible! The item does not work I bought one from sharper image after reading all the great reviews. The item does not work, the led light does not turn on and the item is not a sharper image product. It is made by minimax . The plastic water bowl makes it look like its not even worth $10. It really does a great job. Works great! I have 2 problem areas in our home - the kitchen after Saturday morning pancakes (the greasy smell) and the laundry room where the cat box, for the 3 cats, is located. We just added 2 cats in the last few months and it had become oppressive to go into the laundry room due to the cat box odor. This water globe has all but completely removed the odors - it is amazing - even without using any of the fragrances that were included. If the cats have just done their business, you notice it, but its not horrible. Within a very short time, maybe 15-20 minutes, all the odor is gone and remains gone until the next kitty potty break. It works pretty well in the kitchen too, although the greasy smell lingers longer - this may be because it is a much more open area with very high ceilings than the small, contained laundry room. I leave it plugged in and going all the time - with constant running you have to change / add water about every 24 hours. It does make noise - like a quiet washing machine or dishwasher. Al Okay Buy This product looks good and does go to work instantly, but I would call it an air freshener, rather than an air purifier. As soon as you turn it on it goes to work and makes the room smell better, and remove bad odors, but no air contaminants collect in the water, and if it is a hot day the water evaporates away, so even if it did clean the air polutants go right back in it. All in all it is good to look at, good for kitchens bathrooms, and nurseries; as long as you can handle the noise versatile - sits quietly bubbling away Using my own oil scents - very nice to gently give a room an aroma of your choice. Even better if its cleaning the air at the same time as it says it does. Got to be careful with te bubbling noise, sends you to sleep, so best not to use in the office !?! A/C dry the air, this clean and give it just the right amount of moisture. Save you space and money on another equipment. Fantastic for pets! My fiance and I bought this because we work at an animal hospital and one of our veterinarians bought it for her exam room. It worked so well at the hospital for foul pet odors that we decided to buy one for our home. We use it every day and it always freshens up our home (2 dogs and 1 cat in our 2 bedroom apartment). Not mention that my fiance and one of our dogs have severe dust allergies and this really helps to reduce the dust in the air. I recommend this to all our pet-owner or allergy prone friends. Thanks Sharper Image! Small in Size but Powerful in Results I live in a log home and no matter how dry your logs are, there is always some mold in the air. By adding a very small amount of isopropyl alcohol, a few drops of lemon grass and tea tree essential oils, to the water bowl, the air has become so clean that my sinus problems had disappeared. Im sold! fabulous I use this in my home, Im not an office but I cant imagine it wouldnt work beautifully in an office as well. Its a wonderful product. I also have a humidifier from Sharper Imaage but this product could replace that. The air felt better and fresher immediately. Ive only used two of the scenes thus far, but it comes with a small variety. Its very easy to use, it doesnt make a sound. I love the product. It works so great I am fascinated at the sight of the colors and the air freshness. Nice additiaon to home This product is great for the living room and it has made improvements on air quality. Changing the water is routine(every day), but one could go two days. Drawbacks, could be frequent water fills, but overall we are satisfied with our purchase and will purchase more in the future. Also very nice that you can turn the light off while sleeping. We run ours 24/7 when we are home. LOVE IT! This air filter is the best I have owned for personal use. I sit it on my night stand and add the lavender fragrance. I am asleep in 5 minutes and my airway passages stay open all night! Cool Globe, Pure Air This is a Christmas present for my husband. Due to the entire family having allergies, we have searched high and low for a purifier for the bedrooms and finally we ran across this device. Absolutely fantastic. The scents are light and we wake each morning without a dry, scratchy throat or sniffles. The kids love the LED changing light - just enough to give a nice glow in the room. If the unit is turned to high, the sound reminds me of the ocean. Couldnt recommend this more - easy to use and clean and small enough to not take up a lot of space. Great product and would highly recommend. It really works!!! Works great I turn on the product whenever I start working in that room. It works great and is extremely quiet. It sits in a shelf and is quite neat to look at. nice product. It releases nice scents and i believe it "cleans" the air but I havent seen the evidence of this yet. perfect for my apartment Quickly removes smoke, cooking, and cat odors from my apt. You have to make sure to monitor it as the water level decreases. Lasts about 6 hrs on its highest setting before rewashing and refilling globe. I keep it on highest setting whenever Im home. Also has a cool changing light option, glows about the same as a night light would. Love it I just love this little air cleaner. Cool little gadget It did fill the house with scent but it was a little too large to fit comfortably on the counter. Loved the lights. It works We use this in our bedroom and I have to fill it twice a day with about 2 cups of water. It is very dry here in Colorado, so it may not be this way for everyone. I should have bought a bigger unit for just that reason. I just bought a new condo and started this up right away. I love how it has multiple uses in filtering, air freshener, and light humidifier. Air purifiers tend to be on the expensive side and I feel this was a great deal for the amount I spent. I am pretty sure I will we ordering atleast one more and have recommended this to my family and friends. I am very happy with this product. I have allergy issues and live near an industrial area so it is important to keep the air inside my home as clean as possible. Sharper Image products have helped make this happen. Really cleans the air While this product really does clean the air, I am disappointed in the scented oils. The only time I can smell them is when I am mixing the oil with the water. There is no refreshing scent while the product is running. Since replacement oils cost over $15 a bottle, I will not be buying anymore. bought 3 Every night when I go to bed I turn it on, I believe it cuts down on all the dust in the air. Great Investment The Water Globe does not have a loud motor, its a soothing sound of water. The light on it changes color and makes for a nice way to fall asleep. Great air purifier I have one at home and my office. I have terrible dust allergy and I stopped sneezing! Best Buy I have tried 2 other air filters and purifiers with disappointing results. But this product was IMMEDIATE!!! The air was crisp and lightly scented. The odors in the kitchen disappeared within 30 minutes of use. So simple to use and I love that they include 4 choice of scents to use. The only con is the noise factor. It really does sound like a washing machine. However, I do not think it takes the food smell out of the air when you are cooking. I kept this for our allergies and the cold season. it really cleans the air! its powerful in small places like a bathroom, bedroom small office.. but for a kitchen removing cocking odors it doesnt work that well ... so far a great product you will sleep better if use it in the bedroom. We enjoyed the variety of fragrances so much, my husband wanted one for his office. Bought 3 I use it while I sleep. Now my brother and Mother have one each. Soooo quiet This actually works, the air is clean and easy to use. Decent I purchased this air purifier in hopes of an affordable way to get rid of the cigarette smoke from my down stairs neighbors. I really dont notice a huge difference. I do feel it helps get clean in the air but its not a perfect job by any means. The dome has a speed control on the top and I have it at the very fastest speed and it is VERY noisy. I also leave mine going full speed all day and everyday and I have to empty out the bowl every morning and re-fill the water and before bed I have to empty and re-fill because the all day and full speed use evaporates the water quickly. The fragrances are okay. Dont purchase expecting to replace those wall plug ins. The fragrance only lasts about 2 hours. They also arent that great smelling. The Lavender smells like Lysols Lavender spray. My favorite is the micro shield fragrance. Ive notice that one actually fills my whole apartment from the bathroom but again, doesnt last long. All around, its a decent air purifier. Ive ordered the next step up, the 3 in 1 Cant wait for it to get dark. Recently bought the water globe. Its everything you said it was. I find I am running it all day, & cant wait for nite to turn on the "colored" lights, as it makes such a great nite lite as well. It adds a nice touch to our Motorhome. Best of all, no filters to buy. Just wash it out, fill, and youre ready for the next day. Awesome!!!
