Great bang for the buck.
I took formal lessons when I was a kid and havent played keyboard for decades so I was delighted to get this gift and immediately bought sheet music and started practicing playing the ivories. I find this relaxing, rewarding, fun, and a great way to exercise my mind and do something just for me!

This should be your first keyboard
At 69 years of age, I always wanted to play an instrument. My parents never offered lessons, and time went by. I do not have time to take weekly in-person lessons, nor the focus to spend an hour at a time. This instrument has terrific lessons, just like a personal teacher, but better. I get to practice at my own speed and get feedback that resonates. I can spend as much time as I like to master a lesson and then move on. The keyboard is full function and has so many possibilities that I have not been able to try out yet. It might be as good as any other keyboard you can buy, but there is no better way to learn how to play a piano.

Great learning tool
We bought this piano to help my daughter practice in between her piano lessons and recitals. She really likes how the computer listens to her play a song and helps correct her mistakes. She can even record herself and show her teacher when she comes over for her lesson. This has really improved her piano playing.
