Simply Fabu

The unit replaces an Ionic Air Cleaner that I bought from Sharper Image over ten years ago. I love a clean smelling house, and this unit does it for me. I have a bathroom without a window. When I turn this unit on - it refreshed not only the bathroom, but the entire half of the house. It works fast too. (Im talking 3-5 minutes). I highly recommend this product.

I got this ionic comfort a few weeks ago to help eliminate allergens. It really seems to be improving the air quality. I havent tried to clean the filter yet, so this is why I only give it 4 stars...

quiet does not take care of oders

I use this in a large basement bedroom. When I got it, I thought the oder from being a closed in room with no windows would improve.They did not.It does clean the air well and is compact for travel

Small, but still powerful

My 83 year old mother-in-law needs clean air due to a breathing problem. Since she has a dog in the house, she uses this to clean the air. Very effective.

Cleaner Air

My husband suffers from extreme allergies and this is a terrible time for him. We also just finished up renovations and there was dust all over the house. He couldnt sleep in the bedroom, due to all of the dust left from remodeling our bathroom. After dusting, vacuuming, and washing the window treatments he was still having a difficult time breathing. The air purifier really helped with clearing the air in our room. It is also very quiet on the lower settings, which is great since my husband is a light sleeper. The only con I have is it emits an odor thats hard to describe. Its not overwhelming but it keeps me from running the purifier more than a couple of hours at a time.

I have two and each one is located in a bedroom. One bedroom is very dusty all the time due to heavy street traffic and the Ionic Comfort Compact Air clears the dust and air quality very well. I have to clean the filter more often than the upstairs one but its worth it. The upstairs bedroom does not have the dust issue but I find that I sleep much better from the better air quality.

Does what it claims to do!

This product works well for those who suffer from allergies, as I do. The cleaning process is not very convenient because you need to turn it off for quite a while and wait for the filter to dry after cleaning.

Very Effective

This is a fine replacement for an electronic air cleaner that broke. Its a bit more difficult for me to clean as I dont have a dishwasher. Im sure that using a dishwasher makes cleaning the filter cartridge no effort at all.

Dont waste your money!

After buying years of great products from Sharper Image this is the worst ever. What happened to the beautiful ionizers that worked and were silent? This device is noisey, doesnt work. I washed mine with the dishwasher, I thought a nice new feature but it took 2 days to dry and the filter dirty light did not go off. I bought 2 and I wish I had kept the boxes cause I would return both. DO NOT BUY!!!

Small... but it works!

We have an older home that we are constantly updating. My wife picked out the Ionic Comfort compact unit from SI for my daughters bedroom and it has not disappointed. Not bad

This is a good product for a single small room, that doesnt have vents to the rest of the house. Cleaning isnt that hard if you have a dish washer, but it takes a long time to dry, even if your dishwasher has a drying feature, it still needs to be sat out to dry for a few hours. If you are trying to get ride of tobacco smell, this is not the product for you, because it is not stong enough, but for small time use it is just fine.

This is a great product for any room

I bought this item because i started smoking in the house,bad idea, i know, but.. i spend alot of time in the living room and didnt want it to smell like smoke and thought it would also help me to clear the smoke out quicker from the room so no lingering smoke. It has so far worked great, i can tell the difference alot! Once summer comes and the weather is warmer i can smoke outside again, but still plan on using this item in the living room cuz it is next to the kitchen as well, so the air you are breathing even from dust or whatever is much better with having this product.

Back in Business

I have been looking for a good Purifier for a small room. This has got to be one of the best I have ever used, period. Easy to operate, easy to clean, and super quiet. It is nice to know that I can clean the air without having a jet engine in my office. I felt the effects in a very short amount of time. This is GREAT!!!
