Finally - Electric socks that work!

I hunt deer in Central Illinois and my feet used to always get cold because we sit in the blinds all day long. This year the temps were around 50 degrees so it wasnt a good test but my feet stayed toasty warm inside my 1200 gram thinsulate boots all day long. I used the "Y" cable and one battery set on the lowest setting and it lasted the entire 11 hours I was in the stand. The first day it was 30 degrees at 6am and I cranked up the control to 3 (out of 4) and my feet got HOT so I had to turn them down. Ha! I ran the "Y" cable inside my jeans and out the top so I could keep the battery in my jeans pocket. This worked well except the connectors came loose once or twice. After that, I taped the connectors up so they would not come loose. They need to make the connectors so they snap together and then this product would be as near to perfect as it could be.

So so

Socks are indeed very warm, but flimsy material. I have had these for one month and there are 3 holes in the seams of one of the socks. These are expensive socks and I would expect better quality.

Warm and Toasty but Tricky to Wear

I am an avid equestrian and ride year round including during cold temperatures. The socks are toasty but it is hard to keep the connecting wire and the battery connected, especially when active. The connecting wire is too short and the battery is heavy. The connection becomes undone easily, so activity tends to cause the battery to be unplugged. The battery doesnt clip to my boots as nicely as it could.
