Review Content I-Grow Helmet: Promising Start I am 50, female, with noticeably thinning hair. I started panicking once a balding spot developed right above my forehead, dead center (you can easily see my scalp now). I have been using the I-Grow helmet every other day, 25 mins. as instructed, for about a month now. I am happy to report that the balding spot in front is starting to fill in with hairs about 2/3" long now (my hair has always grown quickly). My husband, 49, has a receding hairline (typical male-pattern balding); he is also using the I-Grow; hard to say whether theres been a change in his hair yet (but of course have great hopes!) Waiting To See How This Will Work I have been using this product three times a week since March 2013. The jury is still out...I want to give this product a fair time opportunity to work before I can pass full judgment. I will say it is easy to use. I use it while checking emails. I have seen a little growth in one of my trouble areas, but time will tell if this product truly works. So Far So Good Seems to work just like the expensive machine used in a salon. I had done that for 6 months and started to see results and this has picked up right where that left off. You will have to be patient, but it will at the very least stop you from losing more hair. Its easy to use, and hooks to a device to listen to music or watch a movie. Only takes about a half hour. The only issue is that is is a little uncomfortable, but you only use it for about 25 min. Jury is still out! I am an ideal candidate with thinning hair on top and have used this product exactly as instructed for 2.5 months. So far my hair is not getting any thinner but is not getting any thicker either. It is like I have never used it. I am going to give it 6 months. I hope something happens. But i cannot recommend it until my six months are up and I can let you know if this works or not. I will update this in 6 months. Bad Quality Device This device is poorly built and of bad manufacturing quality. The earphones are flimsy and break easily after 3 months of use. Its also not very comfortable to wear and looks like a cheap bike helmet. I believe laser therapy works, but I would turn to another laser therapy device.
