Review Content Electronic Wine Opener The electronic wine opener works great on both cork and synthetic corks. Weve owned others that did not work on synthetic corks. It is easy to use and it stores nicely on a counter as it doesnt need to sit on a recharging base. I like that it tells you when it needs to be recharged. Nice product. Id recommend it. Its just what we were looking for. We use this item for opening our wine bottles. Awesome wine opener! Not only great at home, but cant wait to take it with us on our travels! Works great Purchased as a Christmas gift. On charger for aprox an hour and used it to open 4 bottles of wine. Worked great once we realised cork comes out on its own and you dont have to reverse it. Got ribbed for not reading directions. lol. Will be buying a second one for the lake place. Makes opening a wine bottle very easy! Opening a bottle of wine could sometimes be somewhat of a challenge. Wish I had bought it a long time ago. I have always preferred manual cork screws for aged wine corks but not anymore. Santa pleased a son-in-law & 2 grandsons A son-in-law and two grandsons had big smiles on their faces when they opened these gifts. They immediately plugged them in, still smiling. Santa--the old man-- was thanked many times during this Christmas. The son-in-law and one grandson make wine & have a lot of the associated gadgets. The electrict wine openers were the spirit of Christmas. Great product This product works great and is easy to use. Working effortlessly when opening wine bottles and is quiet aswell... Looked good but only worked four times It is a great concept and worked great at first. We used it three times and then didnt use it again for a few months and the charger did not work. It was a gift and we cant take it back to the gift giver or the store. Electric Wine Opener To open Wine Bottles that are much too difficult to open manually. Great for Parties I received this as a gift last year and the one who gave it to me asked for it as a gift this year. It works well and easily opens 20 bottles on a charge. However, it loses its charge quickly if you leave it in a drawer. Keep it plugged in or remember to plug it in before having people over. Great Opener! I bought this for my husband when the new opener I gave him for Christmas broke after 2 weeks! This is a great opener but occasionally some of the ecorks seem to be super-glued into the bottles. Well, one of them broke the opener! We returned it to Sharper Image for a replacement because my husband absolutely loves this opener! Very noisy, ugly, [...] Should come w/advisory re battery We eat outside a lot, on the deck, at the park, etc. Each use seems to drain the battery in multiples of 3, even from a full charge; each bottle opened seems to use 3 units. Since the charger display only goes to 30, and doesnt work well below 20, you have to plan to open any and all bottles asap. I expected more for the price. Refined From Previous Opener I purchased the previous model and it lasted for about 60 bottles. This opener seems to be better made. It has a very high torque to get out even the most stubborn corks. It is consistant from opening the first bottle on a charge to the last. I have found it useful to set the bottle on a rubber sink stopper to prevent it from twisting. Great Opener This is a great wine opener. Simple to use and no frills. I really like the screen that tells me when I need to charge it as well. Great gadget! Best Wine Opener on the Market! Simple to use and you dont have to worry about tearing up the cork for the collectors. Manual is better We had a hard time getting the corkscrew into the cork at all on both cork and synthetic. It just spins unless you apply pressure. Had to manually remove the cork on most occasions which is not easy. Works like magic! This cork remover is a godsend for anyone who has difficulty removing corks from wine bottles. This battery powered product is small, attractive and does the job with just a switch! Ive purchased 3 electric wine openers My family gave me the electric opener for Christmas and I have since given 3 more as gifts to friends. Excellent product.
