too complicated
Not worth it. Takes too much manipulating of hardware.
Previous Review too Vague
The previous reviewer said the product required too much hardware manipulation?? Theres nothing to this product. Just connect a few cables, push a few buttons and save direct to the device or your computer. It cant get any easier then that. The MPEG4 files are simple to edit and work with if you want to produce your own home movies.
SUPER EASY TO USE!!!
I didnt think this would be an easy product/device to use, but it is so simple - even I am surprised. I am converting my whole VHS system to digital. I was told that this system was not supported on Windows 7, that it was only supported on Windows XP. But I am running Windows 7 and the files are converting perfectly. I couldnt be happier with this product!!

Works as Advertised
I purchased this device for my wife , to convert over family home video tapes to a more permanent format. It works as advertised, I only wish they would have included an sd card. Also I dont know if there is a way to clean up the image quality. My recording came over with exactly the same picture quality as the original tape. However this unit is small light, simple to use, and works like a charm.
Excellent product
Used to convert 25 year old VCR home movies and TV shows on DVD. Extremely easy to set up and use; copies have the same quality as original. Only drawback - the connection cords are short so you have to sit close to the source & TV to use.
