WAS A GIFT - GOT MANY THANKS I got this product as a gift for a bird watcher friend. She cant thank me enough. Was very pleased for her response. Perfect! Its just the perfect tool - great binocular viewing and you can capture what you see looking at (up close) to share. Now I can also view and take pictures of wildlife. Im excited. just bought them I found using these binoculars and camera okay, but cannot download the photos! it keeps saying it doesnt detect a camera. Wunderbar! This is a great product. I have many uses for it. No Disk While the binoculars work fine, the image capturing is useless without the software for the PC. Mine either did not come with it, or was hidden so i did not see it before throwing the packaging away. It seems MANY have done this as one person says it hides behind the cardboard inside the box. Stupid planning on the manufacturers part. No use other than binoculars now. Too many options I walk the neighborhood.There have been break-ins, so I carry my binoc-cam to catch suspicious activity/characters when I see them. I also love bird watching. Buy the time I set the camera option, the birds are usualy gone. Its taking me a while to become familiar with. HE LOVED IT HE REALLY LOVED IT He unwrapped it, his eyes lit up, and he smiled. when he realized that he could record with it he was awestruck. Score for the gift giver. Worth it? This gift was given to my husband as a birthday gift by his sister. I tried uploading the photos he had taken on our last vacation and it kept telling me digital camera not found. This was very irritating. And after reading the other reviews complaining of blurry photos or non-compatabile operating systems. Im wondering whether this product is worth the money my sister in law paid. This is great for photo shots We use this item to photo the wildlife in the area from the smallest fowl to the hawks and falcons that prey on them. GREAT PHOTOS Larger is not always better I used the binoculars when I went to see my favorite band, Foo Fighters. Really Cool Gift My husband should probably be writing this review since this was a gift for fathers day for him. In a word he loved it and said it was the coolest gift he had ever gotten. I bought it for him for his trip to Alaska so he could take better shots of all the glasiers I know he will be using it alot. Rod and Judy Kelly Poor Optics, wont focus, Poor Digital I This is a piece of junk, the right eye piece focuses, the left eye piece wont. The digital images are not as good as most childrens digital cameras, not even 1 megapixle. Cool idea, but poorly put together. Not a Sharper Image, thats for sure Really Really Bad The pictures that this product takes are blurry and pixelated beyond 1990 era technology. Very disappointed! I bought these to take pictures at a NFL game since it showed such great pictures at the game. The pictures must have been taken by a high quality camera through the binoculars! I would buy this product if they gave me I found this product to be O.K. for quick and easy pictures. Not a high quality camera. The biggest draw back is, mine worked fine for one year and now the camera wont function. When turned on, only "HR" is viewed in the display. So, all I have now is a dis-functional camera an binoculars I have to look cross-eyed through. Sharper Image, send me another pair and Ill be happy ! Just what I need when Im on Patrol. Each night as a Neighborhood Watch coordinator Im on patrol and can take magnified pictures of car license plates with my Digital Camera Binoculars when I need to, using light from my search light on my vehicle.I can then store them on my computer for possible future use. Camping essential! It is a nice item to have when you go camping, it looks less stalkerish than if you use a camera Doesnt work w/W7 Cant get a driver that works with Windows 7. So no way to download the pictures. Mrs Purchased as Christmas gift for spouse. Unhappy with product as pictures turn out complete with a large mark, no visible problem and item was received in good shape. Sadly, unuseable! Great Pictures
