OKAY, BUT . .
Returned 1st unit because shiatsu squelled. Guess what . . so did replacement unit. Good for evening foot relief.
My legs cried for this product
I have restless leg syndrome and heard from a good friend that a massager would help. Being desperate for relief my husband rushed to order one for me, but when it arrived we were so disappointed that it hasnt helped and its not returnable. It is a wonderful machine and quite sturdy and reliable. Can you offer any suggestions to help our dilemma?
DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM - ITS HORRIBLE
I often have sore feet from running and working out. I purchased this machine believing it must do a good job because its rather expensive, but it is simply horrible. I tried to return it the same day I purchased it, because I realized after only 5 minutes of use that it was completely ineffective. However, because its considered a "personal hygiene item," Sharper Image would not accept the return. I offered to bring it into a local store the next morning to have it inspected so they could see that it was literally used for only 5 minutes - they wouldnt budge. I understand policy, but this product is designed so poorly that they should refund the purchase price to anyone who complains about it - and, after checking on-line reviews and doing a bit of research, there are many, many people who agree that this product is garbage and a rip off. Im very, very disappointed in Sharper Images lack of judgment in carrying this sub-par product. Ive purchased several items from the store in the past and have
Powerful and attractive Massager
I got it as a gift from my daughter. My wife and I use it everyday. It is a very powerful massager and sometimes it is a little too powerful but for all the good reasons. I cant live without one anymore.
feel good to feet bad to ears
feels great once one finds where to place feet. wrong spot equals pain. Can not use the knead because of loud noises.
Not as good as the last one I had
The old sharper image itam worked better on feet
Almost Perfect :-(
I was excited when I received this as a gift. Everything felt great. The next day my achilles and lower calf felt as though I had been kicked excessively in my last soccer match. I gave it a few days and tried again with the same results. My wife and I compared notes and both agreed. If there was a replacement pad for the calf roller I would have loved to keep it, but just couldnt risk the injury by trying to run with bruised calves and achilles. Minus that one issue, all other modes of massage felt phenomenal.
Effective but slightly annoying
Ive been going back and forth with Sharper Image since Christmas. The foot massager, which I bought for my wife runs great if you can ignore the annoying noise it makes. It is not a naturally normal souding noise but something that one would attach to a old beat up piece of machinary that was made in 1890. It sqeeks and groans and sounds like it is begging to be oiled. I returned the first one thinking that I got a lemon, well three weeks later the new one came and this was louder than the first one. My relatives own similar devices that dont make this horrific noise. Im just tire of dealing with shipping it back and talking to reps, so I will just eat the [$] and use it only when Im really desperate for relief. Im sad my wife wont use it as she was really excited about it when she opened it on Christmas day. I kind of feel I let my wife down and spent a lot of money for nothing. You really need to have your quality control folks look at this it sqeeks and grides and makes a potentially relaxing e
