This Clock Rocks!
The clock is lightweight and sleek...the speakers deliver some heavy duty sound. I keep this at my desk so I can get a good amount of work accomplished while rocking out to my favorite tunes!
Almost the perfect alarm clock.
I so wanted to absolutely love this, but it suffers from 1 very critical flaw, its illumination. It is super easy to use, sounds amazing clear, feels very sturdy and looks pretty decent, but the LED lights and the dimming features are abysmal. There are 4 levels of brightness that the read-out has, bright, super bright, super nova and off. During the day it really doesnt matter which one you have one, but at night the alarm clock makes my room glow with a very bright white light. If I turn it to the dimmest setting you cant see anything, if turn it to any of the other settings its too bright, even to the point that its hard to see the time. I enjoy listening to my ipod, but my old alarm clock was much more useful in telling time. This will probably end up in my workshop covered in sawdust while my 10 year old alarm clock returns to active duty.
Not for the Office
I bought this dock for my Ipod Touch and it works fine. But I bought it to listen to at work, and it is going back. The volume controls are beyond frustrating. On setting 2, I can hardly hear a thing, and on setting 3 the whole office can hear it. There is no middle setting or adjustment, even if I adjust the volume on my Ipod. I am very disappointed in this purchase.
Great alarm
The design is sleek, and number is big. I like the sound of the speaker, and how it plays radio. Only con is that is only has one sound for the alarm, it has a beeping sound. It is loud enough to definitely wake you up, but variation of tone would have been nice.
EXCELLENT
I PURCHASED THE CLOCK RADIO DOCK FOR MY IPOD AND RECEIVED IT FIVE (5) DAYS LATER. I HAVENT STOPPED USING IT SINCE I GOT IT. AS A MATTER OF FACT I PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE FOR A FRIEND. I HAVE NEVER BEEN DIS-SATISFIED WITH ANYTHING I PURCHASED FROM THE SHARPER IMAGE. KARLA JONES

Love the clock radio dock station
Bought this clock-radio dock station for my duaghter. She NEVER charges her iPod in it, but I think that eventually she will. The clock is very sleek looking and the numbers are large and clear to read.
Good clock radio/dock
I have tried several clock radios on top of my refrigerator and they all have trouble picking up my preferred radio stations and the sound has definitely left something to be desired. I decided to spend the money for this clock radio and dock. I am very happy with it. The reception and the sound quality are much better. My only complaint is that you can only adjust the volume by numbered settings and Id really like more control.
It has it all...But...
I do like the abundant features, like dual alarms, charging station and the great quality sound. It also looks very sleek and sexy. There are only 2 drawbacks that keep me from totally loving this clock and in my mind they are important. The volume control has preset levels to choose from, not variable. The problem is I bought the clock so I could listen to my iPod while trying to fall asleep, but the volume level #3 is too loud and #2 is too soft to enjoy the tunes. It needs to be completely variable. The second problem is with the clock face dimmer, which is set up the same way. It is too bright and the last setting turns the clock off all the way, which is useless. I tried moving it farther away and using the remote to hit snooze but ended up dropping it or hitting the wrong button. The dimmer needs to be variable like the volume. I really do like all the other features but the drawbacks have kept me looking for something better.
GARBAGE
Mother in law bought me this alarm clock for christmas 2009. Less than a year later the speakers are blown out after using them at medium volume. Also, the most irritating part, is that the dock doesnt charge my iPhone anymore. For [$] im NOT satisfied with this product at all. I have a sharper image MP3 shower shaving mirror which also sucks. I will never buy sharper image products again.

Less Than What I Expected
The clocks display is too bright for a bedroom at night, even on its lowest setting. There is a button to press to turn off the display, but what good is that? Also, the audio speakers have pre-set volume controls 01 thru 10. The speakers can distort at volume level 05, and level 04 is too soft in my opinion. It needs 01 thru 20 for better volume control and better speakers.
Its ok
It randomly turns on in the middle of the night and during the day at loud volume even if i turned it down the last time i used it before turning it off.
