Not quite ready to rate heat performance
It hasnt gotten cold enough for me to rate the heat performance yet but the remote control is very slow to respond. I have to push the on/off button 5-6 times before it will repond. And then several times before the temperature signal will respond as well.
New Friend in the Basement
I needed a space heater for the basement while I do some work down there. The temperature runs a good 6-10 degrees colder than the upstairs. This gets the space warm and me back to work in no time.
Upright Ceramic Heater
A small fan would help to circulate the warm air a bit better, however, even without a fan this unit does a very good job. We are using it as supplemental heat in a four seasons room. I would consider it to be a good value
Best Ceramic Heater Ive Owned
Over time, Ive owned several ceramic heaters and (in my opinion) this is easily the best unit available. It seems to produce more heat than the other makes/models Ive used and the build quality is excellent. Also, the fan runs very smoothly and is definitely quieter than you might expect. One user mentioned some problems with the remote control but my experience with it has been excellent. Very responsive and simple to use. Its kind of difficult to describe, but the unit has a precision feel that you just wont find in other heaters. Its also very stylish and easy to move from one room to room as needed. Yes, its a bit pricey, but after many disappointments with other heaters I dont regret spending a little extra money for it.
