SmokeStop Filters from Blueair have more activated carbon to remove more smoke, odors and gases from your breathable air. Blueair recommends changing the SmokeStop Replacement Filter every 6 months – at the same time that you replace the batteries in your home’s smoke detectors.
One complete set of Replacement Air Filters includes 3 enhanced HepaSilentTM Replacement Air Filters that remove dust, pollen, bacteria, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne particles. The particle filter is made of polypropylene, which mechanically filters out airborne particles. To maximize filter effectiveness, particles are negatively charged before reaching the filters. When used with a Blueair Air Purifier, the Blueair SmokeStop Filter will capture 99.97% of airborne particles in your home, including dust mites, mold spores and pet dander particles – as well as smoke. Easy to install, simply open the unit’s lid and remove the old SmokeStop Filter, then drop in a new one. Blueair 500/600 SmokeStop Replacement Filters fit the 501, 503, 550e, 601, 603 and 650e Blueair Air Purifiers (500 and 600 series units).
