Purchased this as a gift for my Mother-In-Law (91st Birthday) - with her failing eyesight we thought this would be a helpful gift. It was easy to program and works very well. It has made her calling much easier and fast. She just loves it - only wish we had purchased it earlier.

Relax, we found the answer
This is a blessing. I purchased this machine to make life simpler for all of us. It is stationed in my mothers room (lives with me) and connected to her portable phone. This machine enables my mother to pick up the phone and call anybody instead of trying to press small phone buttons..she likes it alot. I give this an A+.......great idea.
It is that convenient, we all have a tendacy to use it.

Great Product!
I bought this for my mother who is blind. She can not see to dial a phone anymore so I thought this would be perfect for her. She can not see but she can feel the large buttons to make calls. I think this is perfect for someone that is loosing their eyesite.
Big Button Dialer
Bought this for my 87-year old Mom, who has severe arthritis and does have the dexterity to dial a phone, or the ability to remember phone numbers. This auto-dialer not only can hold big letter names, but can display pictures of the individuals that you frequently call. I have this hooked up to her regular phone/portable phone system, where she can press the button to dial and then use her portable phone to get around to a place she wants to chat. All seniors should have one!

I was able to pre program and easily install for them. Now when my mother wants to call me she just presses my picture! No need to remember a phone number. This phone is perfect for my grandmother. She cant remember phone numbers anymore. I only wish it was a portable system, because it can only be used by the phone base.
Easy to use and dependable
Easy to use and program. It has been 100% dependable so far and is so easy to use that our 4 year old calls Grandma all the time! But thats ok considering the intent was to give our daughter the ability to call for help in the event of an emergency. Power outages have no impact on the ability to use the dialer since its powered by the phone jack. However, it would be nice to have a battery backup to protect the phone number programming just in case the dialer becomes unplugged from the phone jack. I recommend this product.
Perfect for elders to stay in touch.
Senior citizen who has Alzheimers, is able to keep in touch with 12 of her favorite people. Its the best thing ever. Shes not so lonely anymore.

Truly great and functional
Got this for my mother in-law who is 92, and starting to get forgetful. It has helped her to be able to stay in contact with my wife and her siblings. Very easy set up and the idea of just selecting a picture to dial is fantastic.

Very helpful for my mother with Parkinsons disease.
I programmed the phone with photos for my mother to use and names of her children for nursing staff to use.
There is no battery backup, so all programing is lost if someone unplugs the unit from the wall jack. Normal power outage is not affected as Tel, Co. jacks have backup power.

Big Button Phone is Big Hit!
I bought this for my mother who is nearly blind after a recent stroke. She can no longer see well enough to dial from a standard sized number pad on a phone. When she opened her gift of the Big Button Picture Phone and realized that a part of her life that she thought was gone would be realized once again she wept with joy. Thank you for helping my mother; being able to dial a phone may not seem like a big deal to most of us, but to her its freedom.
Great product. Does exactly what it says
Easy to use; easy to program. While the instructions on how to program it (the most important thing) are great, instructions/information about the device itself are poor. How to remove plastic tabs covering the buttons, the fact that you have to peel to protective covering on each of them, how to replace the plastic covers and the correct size to crop your photos to are not mentioned. Some of these things might be intuitive, but they are not as obvious as the directions author seems to think.

Perfect for the Dementia patient. Pictures of the kids added to the big one-button dialers make calling very easy. The caregiver can relax just a little when out of the house.

I bought the phone dialer for my mother who, due to some health issues, has difficulty dialing the phone and it has been her salvation. She can now call her family and friends, when she couldnt before, so she feels less isolated than she did waiting for us to call her. Whether you use photos or just write the names on the buttons, it can be a great help to a person with health issues. And its very easy to set up. I highly recommend this product.
Perfect solution
Gifted this to my elderly, arthritic mother so she can instantly connect by phone with her loved ones any time she pleases, without having to get used to a new phone itself. Setting it up is a bit challenging even for someone highly-educated & able-bodied. But its worth the trouble.
Easy to set up/install!
My dad is disabled and almost blind. With this product he. Simply picks up the phone and presses one button to dial. Before this he couldnt make calls. Now he calls people daily! Photo buttons are large enough for him to see and push. Excellent product. Very easy to set up!

Helpful Phone Accessory
I bought this for my elderly mother who was having difficulty dialing out in her phone. It couldnt be easier for her to use: she picks up the handset (it cant connect to a cordless phone)and press the photo of the person you want to call. Two small issues: it wasnt easy to find photos that fit into the buttons. Also, the instructions should note that there were already plastic protectors on all of the buttons in addition to the bag of plastic button covers that was in the box. I couldnt figure out why the covers wouldnt fit over the photos initially.
A few frustrations, but got it to work
Setting up the phone numbers was frustrating, due to incomplete/vague instructions. We finally figured out how to do it (set each number as quickly as possible once you take the phone receiver off the base), but it was just trial and error. The instruction booklet that comes with the product is extremely basic, so it doesnt help much. With the phone numbers finally all set up, the device seems like it will be a great help to my 87-year-old father. He was very happy to have such an easy way to call anyone he may need, especially in an emergency.
