The pillow meets all the descriptions, but in my opinion its far too soft to provide proper support for the neck. It is definitely far softer than the one I purchased after my neck was broken in a wreck 3 years ago. Im fairly disappointed, but I guess Ill wait to see what my girlfriend thinks when she gets home from work since it is a gift for her. Hopefully she likes it better than I do.
