Amazing
I love how I can just roll it from one room to another , I love to read and watch movies on my ipad in bed . Now I can do so without my neck hurting from holding my ipad in different positions. I Love it .....

I have a chronic neck pain and shoulder weakness, so holding a book/tablet to read can make me very fatigued. Now I can lie comfortably in bed with my arms down to rest, just tapping to turn the page. My cat also really likes it because I can pet him while I read. I foresee this is an item I will use for years.

Great product! I purchased as a gift for my wife. Easy assembly. Product holds IPad securely for hands free viewing. Especially convenient when viewing in bed. I highly recommend this product.
Helps relieve shoulder/neck pain
My wife has really bad neck and shoulder pain, and she always reads on her tablet before bed. Its supposed to be relax time, but she obviously has to hold the tablet out in front of her while reading and that gets old quick, not to mention painful. While I wasnt ecstatic about the large price tag (cost almost as much as our kindle), its just what she needed. It holds it out in front of her and she can twist and tilt it any way she wants or needs. Took about 5 minutes to get it out of the box and assemble it, and only had one bolt to tighten, which was the one to connect the pole to the base. The base is really just a giant weight with wheels and a plastic cover to hide the ugliness. It works, its expensive, but its what we needed. Seems durable so far, not wobbly at all once you get the bolt tightened with a wrench.
No more neck and back strain!
I use it in my recliner. If the base were thinner, I could use it when at the kitchen diner booth, but it does not fit under the table base.
Just what you need for tablet reading
A must have for anyone using a tablet or eReader for long stretches of time in a single location. You wouldnt think a thin tablet would get heavy but it sure does after a while.
This stand is entirely adjustable to accomodate any size and shape and brand of tablet and will hold your tablet safely and securely at just the height and position you need. Reading/surfing with a tablet is much more enjoyable when relieved of the necessity of holding the tablet in one hand all the time. And since there isnt any physical page to turn, you can easily "page" through what youre reading without needing to reposition any bookmarks or clips like you often need when reading a physical magazine or book on a stand.
The stands stability comes from a very heavy base plate. That base plate might make the package a little awkward to carry but is a real benefit once the stand is assembled and set in place. It has 4 snap-on casters that allow you to easily relocate the stand.

When I saw this online, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I like my iPad2, but watching programs or listening to programs was hard because the iPad was slippery on my bed, or my arms got too tired trying to hold on to it so that I could hear it better or see the screen better.
Now that I have it, I use it as much as I can, especially before going to sleep or when waking up to start my day.
I can now save my neck, literally!
After e-reading in bed for over a year holding the heavy iPad, I had moderate neck pains. Along with therapy and this stand I can say that I am getting better and will hopefully stay healthy based on corrected posture! With this stand I can still read on my side or back comfortably. Head up or flat, the stand is easily adjustable and stays where you move the components. It is not flimsy by any means, in fact it is quite sturdy and a bit heavy, but that is a good thing too. I am really pleased with this purchase.

Perfect Partner
Use this exclusively next to bed (due to heaviness of moving it, but also because that is WHY I wanted it) with my iPad.The base is too high to slide under the narrow platform bed, but because of its total adjustability, this is not a problem.The bed is adjustable, so I change the stand frequently depending on position.I dont sleep "thru the nite", so use this stand with earphones and now my husband CAN sleep!(And I am not losing my iPad in the bed or on floor by morning.) LOVE it!!

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. Hes a gadget guy, so it seemed like a good gift. He LOVES it and says it was the best gift ever as far as my gadget selections go! He uses it for his iPad to read e-books, check news. He loves that it is hands free and he can relax on the sofa after work and use the iPad in such a relaxing position.

I liked this product so much, I bought three more, one more for me, one for a friend, then the friend wanted to give one as a gift. It was a bit pricey and heavy.... But it works likes charm and is very functional and durable. Two plastic areas received small cracks in transport on two separate items.....but they were not visible really and did not effect their function or appearance....so we have not yet bothered requesting replacement parts.....if we do I will update and report on the service.

ONE OF THE BEST PRODUCTS I HAVE BOUGHT
I am compelled to write this review since it has reduced much strain on my neck and shoulders. It can be adjusted in so many ways and I can even use it as a bed stand for my macbook air!
I literally stream everything on my ipad 3 these days like netflix apple store purchases and espn so this is wonderful! It is portable so I can move it towards my big screen TV to connect my ipad for larger screen viewing.

Box is heavy careful lifting it up at your door. When I tried putting it together the nut that holds the stand on the bottom was very hard to get on. I felt they should have made the bolt that is attached to the pole a little bit longer. I had to get my son over to the house to get it on. He was stronger! But, with that said we love it. Our necks dont hurt viewing our iPad, we can set it up at eye level. I would of giving a 5 star rating if it was not for the trouble getting the nut on. Do yourself a favor and order one. On the outside of box is a picture of the stand so if its a surprise get to the door first!

I love this product! I am a paraplegic with a shoulder injury, so it comes close to being a need. ( Maslow might not agree.) I use it while I am in bed, then roll it around side of bed to use it while in chair. I can move it easily alone. I use it browsing and reading, but movies show how outstanding it is. You can sit in front and watch, and be in your own little world. If you are on the fence about it, jump off and get it.

This is a great product for any tablet owner. I did my research before making my purchase and was surprised to find that the competitor brands, design, & price points were light years behind. Honestly, similar products seemed way too dangerous to be so close to my bed. I purchased this because I began having shoulder pain from staying on my side while I held my ipad. This product serves it purpose to the tee. Set-up was easy. W/ in 5-10 minutes after opening the box, I was already in bed browsing the Internet on my tablet - comfortably tucked underneath my sheets. I would highly recommend this product to any tech/ gadget geek. Best tablet accessory on the market by far!

Exactly as advertised
This floor stand is perfect for so many activities with my tablet! The tablet is securely held and can be rotated to just the right viewing perspective whether sitting, standing or lying down. I can easily move it from room to room. Especially great for viewing videos and reading books. Although the package delivered is a little heavy due to the stand base and you have to carefully unpack so the base doesnt slide out onto your foot or hand, there are explicit directions on the box on how to safely open. I followed these and had no problems opening and setting up this stand by myself. This stand has increased my enjoyment with my iPad.
Excellent product--helps immeasurably
I bought this for myself because I have a very bad back that results in me having to lie down much of the time or else be on a level of painkillers that makes working difficult. This device, alone and/or paired with a bluetooth keyboard, has allowed me to have greatly increased productivity and general enjoyment. I can read articles and ebooks, read and write email, socialize via facebook and such, and otherwise work and play on my ipad while reclining in a zero-gravity chair or lying in bed. This gives me literally hours of extra time a day. And it wheels really smoothly between bed, couch, and chair. Im also experimenting with using book bungees to hold lightweight books to the device. This would also be good for anyone whose wrists and hands simply get tired when holding the ipad. I love it!
Excellent for Android tablets!!!
I purchased so that I could use my Google Nexus 7 (Android) tablet can record myself while I play music on my piano or organ, so I can share/upload videos to YouTube. Thats a whole nother topic, and issues there because of Nexus 7, but wow, the tablet is perfect and received/used by myself, my brother, and my daughter which all have Google Nexus 7 tablets.
When I received the box at home, it was not that heavy (at least, I dont remember it being heavy). When I started to assemble the tablet stand, I think I was a little intimidated or lazy at first, and did not want to have to assemble it, but I looked at the instructions, instructions were easy to follow, and I think I had the tablet stand assembled within 30 to 60 minutes (I dont remember exactly how much time it took to assemble the stand), I do remember I spent an hour, trying to get it out of the box, reading instructions, and assembling it.

adjustable tablet stand
I bought this stand for my daughter to use with her ipad. This is how she watches tv at night and chats with friends. She loves that it helps her to see screen better instead of proping it up and always falling over.
It is large and becomes a piece of furniture,so keep that in mind.

Sturdy and convenient
Bought it for my husband who uses it daily while lying on the couch. Its easy to put together, and you can easily adjust height and angle depending on your position. Is it a must-have? No. Is it convenient? Yes.
Saves my Neck!

I read a lot on my ipad. I usually read in bed, propped up on my elbows, but my neck started hurting. This stand is great! I can lay back comfortably and read for hours.

Have had this stand since Aug. 2012. So far I have only used it for reading in bed.I am pleased with it because I can literally position my tablet the way that is most comfortable for my neck. Really the only thing that could make it better is if it turned the pages for me too!!

I have an 18 year old son with cerebral palsy, this product allows him to use his iPad on his own! He puts his stylus in his mouth and now does not need anyone to hold the tablet. Gives him a great feeling if independence! It is sturdy, and the variety of positions it moves to gives us flexibility on his seating. Perfect!
Works Great!
I am disabled, and have arthritis in shoulder as a side effect. The tablet holder allows me to use my iPad hours longer than I could before. Everyone who sees it wants one. Its an addition too, not a distraction from the room.

Handy Product
Early Christmas present due to knee surgery. Am able to use iPad while lying flat on my back. Really awesome the number of positions and angles the pad can be turned. Can roll it from room to room with no problem. Can keep iPad plugged in and charging while in use on stand. I gave it only 4 stars due the short time I have used it. My only concern is the small bungee straps that hold it in place. They may weaken over time, which may allow iPad to fall. Not sure though. Time will tell. But, very impressive stand.

I found this on the website a while back. It was easy to assemble and you can position it any way you want sitting or laying. Its nice I can look at my tablet rather than hold it and look down causing neck pain over time. I would recommend it to anyone.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM FOR MY BROTHER FOR CHRISTMAS. MY BROTHER RECENTLY HAD SURGERY AND HAS A LENGTHY RECOVERY TIME AHEAD OF HIM. THIS IS PERFECT FOR THE EXTRA TIME HE HAS RESTING. HE LIKES USING HIS KINDLE FIRE HANDS-FREE AND IF HE DOSES OFF, HE DOESNT ACCIDENTALLY SEND HIS BOOK PAGES AHEAD. MOVES EASILY ACROSS CARPET AND THE FLEXIBILITY IS GREAT. MY ONLY GRIPE WOULD BE THAT CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY WITH THIS GIFT AS THE BOX IT WAS DELIVERED IN HAD THE PRODUCT DISPLAYED ALL OVER THE OUTSIDE OF IT AND WHO DO YOU THINK RECEIVED IT FROM THE UPS GUY? Great reading stand for tablet
Spose has low vision and is required to hold the kindle DX close to face for reading. Hands and arm become very tired and caused repetitive use strain in hand. The stand frees her up and relieves that strain and pain of holding the reader.
Why did you raise the price by $50 dollars in 2 weeks???
