i like it but...
i love the compact design and the multi functions got one for my self and one for a family member carry it on my key chain and it does make me feel safer in and out of the car,but i wish it wasnt made out plastic it almost looks like a toy.I think the price is good for all it offers.

I purchased two(one for me and one for my husband)to be mainly used in our cars.What a great security blanket to know you have the proper tools in case of an accident. Also a GREAT,LOUD sonic ALARM. We have a new baby and this tool gives us peace of mind that we can handle most emergency situations that come up while we are on the road. No matter how safety conscious you think you are, having a baby makes you take another look at what you need to do to be prepared. This is a great tool if you take the trouble to familiarize yourself with all of its functions. It is multi functional so if you are in an emergency situation ,you need to be able to quickly access the function you need. It is not intuitive. You need to know how to use it. Its not hard,but you need to read the directions! Owning it is not enough! Youre in charge not the tool!

Too much whiz and not enough bang
Wanted this product for when traveling alone. I just hope it works if needed, since the little I tried was only so-so. The glass breaker didnt even put a hole in heavy cardboard.

NOT theMcGyver Tool I Had Expected
I guess for the price, and given the way this was written up, I was expecting something more durable feeling and more "powerful" etc. It will do what it says probably but is on the lightweight side as far as power, sound and probably durability. I would in hindsight have been better off to just stock my car (bought for car glove box storage) with the small implements that this incorporates that are maybe abit larger but much more sturdy, louder, and, in my guess longer lasting. Its a cute multi-purpose device but Id have rather paid $10-20. more and gotten better quality and a more powerful-sturdier device.

Safe at the University!
Working late hours on a university campus gave me the incentive to purchase this. I feel much safer knowing that I have a few "lights and sounds" at my fingertips that will bring attention to me in an emergency situation. Although it is a bit bulky, the added safety I receive is worth it!
