Doesnt last 60 hours
It doesnt last 60 hours on a full tank unless its on the lowest setting. On the highest setting it lasts less than 24 hours. Its easy to carry from room to room because of the "hole" in the middle which acts as a handle. The design is very attractive, but its not so easy to fill. You need to turn the tank upside down and fill it from the faucet. Unfortunately the tank is too large to fit underneath the kitchen faucet so Ive had to fill a large pitcher full of water and use a funnel to pour the water through the small opening. This can be hard as youre trying to balance the tank upside and hold it in one arm while holding the pitcher of water and pouring it through the funnel with the other hand. And the tank gets heavier as it gets fuller. Water also tends to leak out of the bottom of the tank or it could be condensation. And youre not supposed to place it on carpeting. Since both the living room and bedroom are carpeted, Ive had to place a cutting board on the carpet for a sturdy, waterproof surface

I like this product
I bought this product for my daughters room. We live in Chicago and it gets dry during the winter and we try to prevent sore throats! I like the ability to have hot or cold mist. I also like the ability to adjust the mist level.

Great design, very portable
Its so dry in the winter a humidifier is necessary. This one has a great design and looks good in the room and with the "hole" in the middle, its easy to carry from room to room. The cons are that it doesnt last 60 hours per refill. I find I need to refill the reservoir every day. And refilling isnt so easy. The tank is too big to ft under the faucet, and the hole that you put the water in is rather small. So I have to hold the tank (upside down) in one arm, while I pour water with the other hand into the tank. I first fill a large jug with water and then pour the water from the plastic jug into the tank. As sit fills, the tank gets harder to hold as it gets heavier and water tends to overfow as the hole is too small to fill. You also need to be sure to place the humidifier on a hard surface and not carpeting (per the instructions). Since my entire apartment is carpeted, I put a plastic cutting board on the floor, on top of the carpet, to provide stability and in case of spills and condensation.

Works well but the motor grinds
When I first got the humidifier it worked perfectly, then a week later when I turn it on the motor makes a grinding sound. I turn it off and on until the sound stops but it can be frustrating to get to that point. Turning the humidifier on and off enough times gets it to running quietly.

Pros and Cons
Liked: height (tall enough to reach over my mattress to my face); "water life" (lasted a few days for each full tank); simple controls (up/down, on/off). Disliked: brightly lit panel (covered it to sleep); poorly constructed (latch on water tank broke 3rd time I filled it and up/down buttons stopped working after a few weeks - couldnt increase or decrease the vapor volume); humidifier burned itself out (something burned in the motor area after only 4 months of nightly use).

60 Hour Virtual Humidifier
Use at night. However we must wrestle to get the water filter on or off the base. If you miss the exact area it attaches to, water spills out.

Works well
Does an excellent job humidifying a medium sized room. Although virtually silent, it makes more noise at times and requires a couple of gentle taps on the top to quiet down.

THE BEST!
Quiet. Hubby doesnt mind the whisper sound. Nice mist. Auto shutoff when empty. Doesnt run 60 hrs in my dry bedroom. I use it at night for dry nose and mouth. Only need to refill every 2 days!

A few flaws
I like the design of this humidifier, and it is relatively quiet. The problem I have is that there is a blue light that indicates the humidifier is running on cool setting, and red if running on warm setting. This light, in a completely darkened room is very bright, like a night light. I prefer to sleep in complete darkness, so I have had to rig this to cover the light. Why not just give the consumer the option of turning off the light? I am also not pleased that, because I have a water softener, I am unable to use tap water, and must purchase distilled water. Its an inconvenience.

Quiet and Effective
This humidifier is extremely quiet and effective. While its not quite as easy as Id like to fill, the tank is large and able to provide humidity to our large bedroom for up to 60 hours.

Silent Night
I have always suffered from dry skin in winter and have bought a lot of humidifiers over the years. This is my second ultrasonic and by far the best one I have used. I love the design and the controls are really easy to use. They dont mention this in the ad but the mist is superfine and disperses through the room and I only have to fill it about once a week. I think the way the top oscillates must really help the way it disperses mist throughout my room. I also love how I can adjust the temperature of the mist. I leave it on overnight by the bedroom window and barely even notice its there, but my skin feels so refreshed when I wake up. I know I could give this to anyone as a gift and they would love it!
